Ukraine is winning the war
So an admission that you are deliberately posting outdated, off topic posts to deflect from the thread topic. The thread topic is about Ukraine winning the war, not about Russian winning the war. You should start a new discussion to reflect that. I am sure that is possible (click, New Topic). I can request the moderators to split this thread, to tidy up the discussion, so it is no longer deflected by thread hijacks intentional or otherwise. Your preferred use of the term "SMO" to describe a war suggests you are a Russian national, and an active and vociferous supporter of the current Russian government. On that basis, as a supporter of aggression, your subjective opinion is utterly worthless; you voted for war, and therefore you will always support war.

Noem Demands Total Travel Ban After DC Shooting Sparks Fury
Presumably a full ban on all UK Passport holders is in the offing, and is fully supported by you. https://news.sky.com/story/british-man-accused-of-trying-to-drown-daughter-in-law-on-florida-holiday-released-after-plea-deal-13475617 Its an admission that the DHS, the successor to the INS, is institutionally incompetant. A basic requirement of any immigration service is the ability to identify criminals among innocent travellers. The DHS, under the present Secretary, has admitted to approving an asylum application submitted by a man who went on to commit murder. In a normal government, heads roll, and the Buck isn't passed. The Secretary should accept full responsibility for the actions of people reporting to her, and should resign, and her replacement institute a root and branch enquiry to root out incompetance within her department. Her department, remember, saw an $80bn increase in funding, and this is the result. At the same time, the Secretary approved the purchase by the department of luxury business jets (https://www.militarytimes.com/news/your-military/2025/10/21/coast-guard-spends-200-million-on-private-jets-for-dhs-leaders/), and has been seen attending, at government expense, lavish events, such as the US F1 GP in Las Vegas. I'm not sure how trying out a Danish (unAmerican) Lego car and going for a tour of the paddock supports her and Patel's mission to protect the Homeland. Conservative principals demand careful accounting of the spending of all taxpayer's money. Its not her money to spend on fancy jets.

Hegseth has come out swinging in defense of Navy Adm. Bradley
https://www.congress.gov/119/meeting/house/118301/documents/HMKP-119-JU00-20250521-SD013.pdf https://www.justice.gov/archives/opa/pr/juan-orlando-hernandez-former-president-honduras-convicted-manhattan-federal-court https://www.dw.com/en/honduran-president-accused-of-smuggling-cocaine-into-us/a-56821835 Very curious. So one line is that El Chapo's brother, who is running the Sinaloa Cartel in Mexico has done a deal with the Americans. But did the deal include the former Honduran Narco-President? A Pardon is a forgiveness for a crime committed. The former Honduran President is a convicted criminal, responsible, in part, for the deaths of thousands of Americans, probalby more than Bin Laden. I thought if the US President harbors doubts about the safeness of the conviction, he could order the case to be reopened, and Hernández can instruct his lawyers to seek bail. Some are taking it as fact about the nature of the intercepted boats. Apparently because "Intelligence" said it was so. The same "Intelligence" was so certain of the imminent threat of Saddam Husseins WMDs (40 minutes to Europe), that a multi-national invasion of Iraq was organised. Intelligence Bad Intelligence

The End of the Climate Hoax
Well not entirely true. There are potential engineering solutions, largely objected to by religious extremists who largely created the mess. John Martin, before his untimely death, proposed a nugget of an idea. Carbon capture technologies are quite efficient at source (eg the factory producing the emission), less effective elsewhere. There is biological capacity in the oceans to process oxidised carbon (carbon dioxide) to reduced carbon (carbohydrate), limited by the available phosphorous and iron (hence Martin's theory, which was related to the proposals of Charlson, Lovelock, Ayers and Watson ("CLAW"). There are potential engineering and biological solutions, but the effectiveness depends on commitments we make. Its a multi-generational effort, 2 generations, but most peopel don't care much about their grandchildren, especially Internet Forcum Incels.

Russia Faces Economic Meltdown as 700,000 State Jobs at Risk
Under Russian law, Russians sent to the front line are contractors; they sign on, with a bonis paid by the provincial governments from their budgets. Once the railways start to fall apart, the integrity of Russia starts to be affected. Its a huge country, with an extremely poor road network in the middle. To get to the Russian Far East, you need to fly, in increasingly shonky and unmaintained planes, or take the train. Driving, especially in Winter, is simply not viable. Also, most of the armaments factory are out in the Far East thanks to Gorby (who caused the fall of the USSR) and Stalin (who moved most heavy engineering east). Most of the engineering capability in Western USSR was in Ukraine......

Farage's Racism Denials Slated by Ex-Classmate's Claims
Yeah, what was the actual evidence of Jimmy Savile's crimes? Hazy recollection. He was dead when it was "uncovered". Farage could simply say sorry for what he said when he was 17 years old, and wholeheartedly denounce anti-semitism and racism in the same breath. But he keeps digging a hole for himself. But he hasn't; probably not because he necessarily thinks that way now, but because he knows he has some supporters who do, and if they are not voting for him, they'll either be staying at home or voting for Adam Walker or one of his no-hoper followers. And if he comes out with it, they'll not be voting for him, if they think he's one of "them". The polls for Reform are not as solid as some think, and it will still be the Middle Ground, the Middle Tories, who will decide the next election, which will be based on bread and butter issues such as taxation, economic competance, areas where Reform are weak on the specifics. Kemi is finding her legs; during the leadership elections, I didn't really favour her, but she was a better bet than Jenrick. But as a party member, I think the leadership have gotten it arse about face by getting the membership to vote on the final two, rather than voting to produce a shortlist of STV.

The "news" from Russia.
Steve Rosenberg who is based in Moscow, does a regular newspaper review, discussing what Russian domestic newspapers. Daniil Orain has conducted hundreds of videos, mostly Voxpox, to gauge Russian attitudes Then there are various Russian emigres, who give their own views on what is happening. The best know is Inside Russia. He is an economist, formerly with a Energy Engineering Company, and he was a Putin supporter, in that he has conservative viewpoints. But now he is in Uzbekistan, after having fled. As an economist, he provides an expert view of whats happening. Or maybe lookat Vasya in the Hay, a series of videos, from since before the war, stating how much of a <deleted>hole rural Russia is. One cannot help but think there will be a Reckoning one day. The Russian government has been buying gold, lots of it. At the same time, there are reports of oligarchs being caught trying to take gold out. This is a very powerful signal.

Everything neg about foreign nationals residing in the USA ,news
Interesting Trump is requiring the US Embassy in Canberra to start collecting data on crimes committed by immigrants in Australia, following a similar request to the embassy in London. The Australian population is about 70% immigrant, or immigrant descendant. The US prison population is 97% immigrant, or immigrant descendant. Of course, very few billionaires are in prison. The solution is therefore to make everyone a billionaire. Or is it ginger hair, or south paws? The predisposition towards criminality is not based on criminality. Riclag is basically a racist pig who's views are tolerated. Charles Booth mapped criminality in 19th Century London. Depending where ou came from, he could determine if you were a degenerate criminal or not. The study of the causes of criminal behaviour, such as fraud and sexual assault, have moved on somewhat. East End map: Key Transportation Down Under was grimmer than I thought. I had an ancestor who was transported. He spent 2 years on a prison hulk in Kent before they had enough for the long voyage South.

So does that mean surviving members of the ARVN are facing the boot, on the basis of being spongers. During the chaos of 1975 (all the fault apparently of Ford, because Trickey Dickie would never have allowed it) , it wasn't just boat people who came to America. The refugees included thuggish hardened killers of the worst kind, such as the BTK, the Canal Boys. Maybe about time all the Vietnamese, Cambodians, Laotians and their descendants are deported back home?

Ukraine Strikes Russian Oil Tankers in Black Sea Escalation
Well, the tankers were clearly empty, which limits pollution a bit, and far less than the vast amounts of oil Russia has released into the Black Sea, without any help from Ukraine, thanks to the Russians being cheap skates and putting to sea in either worn out old tankers, or using tankers designed for river navigation on the open sea. Is that the best a Super Power can do? eg https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8dq6q0m862o Alternative link for those suffering from BDS https://tass.com/emergencies/1897777

4 Children Killed at mass shooting!
RTnews = Russia Today A brand of TV Novosti, and founded by the Russian state news agency FSUE RIA Novosti. Of course there will be some immoral <deleted> out there who will claim direct equivalence with Western networks. 40 years ago, they used to tune in on the Long Wave to listen to Radio Moscow, because itwas the truth. Their dads probably listened to Lord Haw Haw on Reichssender Hamburg, and thought he had a point.

Ukraine is winning the war
You didn't read the article did you? Its an interview with Zelensky about the negotiations. Anyone actually reading the article would not conclude that Shuster is referring to Zelensky's future, he's more referencing the current negotiations, and whether these are into the "end game" Despite the propagandist's best efforts to say otherwise, parroted by their paid and unpaid useful idiots in the West, its economy is is a bad way. The Russians are arguing the toss over the fate of essentially Luhansk and Donetsk, oblasts that have seen a 95% fall in GDP since 2022. Its like a bald man arguing over a comb. Russia cannot afford this war to continue much longer; Z-Patriots point to fictions about WW2, and the indominatable Russian male (which isn't true). The economic malaise is not just affecting Moscow's ability to fund everyday government expenditure like pensions and healthcare, its now threatening the geographic integrity of the country. Putin has created the self fulfilling prophecy; his hubris is in danger of destroying the Russian Federation, which is probably good news for all those non-Russians inside Russia There is a rather sad anecdote about the first meeting with Trump. Zelensky had panned to present the President with a WBC belt, from a Ukranian boxer, which probably would have really appealed to Trump. In the Oval Office, it sat on a side table, and was ignored after Vance dropped his uncouth grenade. The article talks about the normalisation of the war; Zelensky had just returned from Finland, a country of 5.6 million, with nuclear bomb shelters for 5 million. The article talks about the steadfastness of the Czech leader, who is obviouslly influenced about how his country was sold out twice by the West to murderous dictators. Czechia, a country smaller than Idaho, found a million shells to help Ukraine. Interesting piece. Illiterate nitwitsor propagandists are grabbed by magazine covers.

So this includes JD Vance's wife, the Head of the FBI, a few members of congress, about 5% of the US military (68,000 active service). Laura Looming wanted all Hispanics (all Hispanics) arrested, in camps, and thrown out. You're of her ilk. Yet you live in a 3rd World Country.

Trump Plans Land Action in Venezuela Against Drug Networks
At great cost. After WW1, Germany felt aggrieved, and as a result, Corporal Hitler had his shot. After WW2, Germany was ruined. What was crucial for the rehabilitation of West Germany (forget East Germany) was the acceptance of what Thomas Mann stated. Mann had won the 1929 Nobel prize for literature. He was the epitome of German culture. He didn't think much of Hitler, but he didn't believe the Nazis would amont to much. He was outside of Germany, on a book tour, when warned not to come back. He returned in 1945, and spoke about Germany and the Germans. https://yalereview.org/article/thomas-mann-germany-and-the-germans https://resolve.cambridge.org/core/books/abs/wilhelm-furtwangler/thomas-mann-germany-and-the-germans-1945/BA8339413C78F179092DB10D61BF4C9A For him, there was no Good Germans and Bad Germans, just German. The German culture ewas responsible for the rise of the Nazis. It did much to encourage the acceptance of guilt. That never happened in the DDR. There they were told it was all the fascists fault. Its no surprise that its in the former East Germany that the AfP is strongest.

You do. Its called Gun Boat diplomacy. Britain did it all the time in the 19th Century. Actual shooting was actually very rarely used. But there are limits. The US and West exercised more than a decade of gunboat diplomacy against Iraq; using limited and not so limited military operations to influence Iraqi policy. It failed, hence the 2003 invasion. Since 1979, the US has used gunboat diplomacy against Iran. Been an utter failure. Venezuela; the US might have persueded itself that there is an army of unhappy Venezuelans all waiting for the slightest cue to overthrow Maduro, with the US in and out, and happy days. Its what we thought would happen in Libya. The US is no doubt fed lots of intel by Venezuelan emigres. Thats what we were told in 2003; that the US had contacts within the Iraqi military, all ready for the order to go. It was completely wrong. The US could launch air attacks against targets in Venezuela, probably to start off with claimed drugs labs, drug lords villas. Nothing much for the West to see except explosions in the jungle. Inevitably a stick of bombs will drop on a school or something. Always happens when the Americans are around. We might even see US air assets take on Venezuela's F16s, interesting for the schoolboys. There will have to be an air assault on Caracas, but its not like Panama or Greneda (though the Americans made a meal of that). But there is a danger that it might turn into something like the USSR's invasion of Afghanistan. A new government had arisen, following elections, in Afghanistan, that was less than pro-Russian, and it was in the Soviet Unuon's back yard. Spetznatz were sent in, to assasinate the government, and succeessfully secure Kabul. Soviet land forces rolled across the border, to support the pro-Soviet oppressed masses, and friendly local military. The war bled the USSR dry, leading to an humliating retreat, and which was probably one of the major reasons the USSR collapsed.

In the same way that Central Africa is stinking rich because of all the resources it has. The soil is no longer fertile. There are enough UXBs to make farming a hazard for the next 50 years. The minerals will stay in the ground if there is no one there to invest in new mining facilities. And the value of these minerals is over estimated by people who think rare earth minerals are rare. Theyn are not. They are actually ubiquitous. The indistry in the region is utterly destroyed. Mariupol is still in a state of ruin. Russia is also now actively shipping Ukrainians, including Russian speaking Ukrainians out to the far east, and moving Muscovites in. Housing loans are only being made available to non-Ukrainians. But why am I debating with you. You are a Communist, ergo untrustworthy. Up there with nazis, you are all as bad as each other.
