Did 11 years in Phuket, the business I was in I traveled most of Southern Thailand. Was in Phuket last, 2024, too congested for me, traffic nightmare would not live there again. Went to El Nido March of 2024, stayed at a nice hotel right in DT where I could walk to the daytrip boats and to all the bars and restaurants, nice place GREAT location $90USD a night. This year they want $200USD a night.............whaaaat??!! Really nice beaches outside of town, Nacphan, Duli, but if you stay out there, minimal nightlife. So instead of spending on the flight and overpriced hotels, going to head back to Puerto Galera. Bus ride instead of airports, $90USD a night for a nice hotel up the road from their version of White Beach.
