  1. There's a place on Soi Country Club, a hundred or so metres on the right if you are travelling from Sukhumvit.
  2. Exact model?
  3. British Airways flights are Qatar. I guess people want to avoid travelling via the ME. But there are still direct flights for under £1000. £10,000 is a gross exaggeration.
  4. You haven't received the greatest of advice 😊 The easiest way is to book via https://www.belltravelservice.com Hotel to hotel service for 450 baht.
  5. I agree, wholeheartedly. To assert that anyone in Iran wants children to die is just sick.
  6. We went to a local restaurant 😊 and then stopped at a roadside place for a couple of coconuts each.
  7. No, they did not. They voted to create a partition of two states and also for the right of return. Your sort just loves to lie and bend the truth to suit yourselves. Not so interested in 'democracy' for when it comes to any of the other resolutions, are you? The Question of Palestine and the General AssemblyThe General Assembly is the main deliberative organ of the United Nations, composed of representatives of all Member States. The question of Palestine was first brought before the General Assembly in 1947. By resolution 181 (II), the Assembly decided to partition Palestine into two states, one Arab and one Jewish, with Jerusalem placed under a special international regime. After the 1948 war, the Assembly by resolution 194 (III) of 1949 established the Conciliation Commission for Palestine (UNCCP) to help the parties reach a final settlement, while reaffirming the rights of Palestine refugees to return and restitution. UNRWA, a Palestine refugee agency, was established by the Assembly the same year. In 1974, the question of Palestine was re-introduced in the Assembly’s agenda. Resolution 3236 (XXIX) reaffirmed the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination, national independence and sovereignty, and the right of the Palestinians to return to their homes and property. In 1975, the Assembly established the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People. The question of Palestine and related issues have been the subject of numerous resolutions and decisions adopted by the Assembly’s regular, special and emergency sessions. On 29 November 2012 the Assembly granted Palestine non-member observer State status in the UN. The relevant issues on the agenda of the Assembly and its subsidiary organs, such as the Human Rights Council include the right of Palestinians to self-determination, their sovereignty over natural resources, assistance, refugees, IDPs, UNRWA, human rights, Israeli settlements, peaceful settlement of the question of Palestine, and Jerusalem, among others. In 2024 the Assembly demanded that Israel end its occupation in 12 month. https://www.un.org/unispal/data-collection/general-assembly/
  8. How was your date? I'm just back from mine. I didn't need to take any money with me, as my girl was happy to take care of it. Sharing is so much nicer than trying to carry the world on your shoulders all by yourself.
  9. That's completely different from your suggestion that they voted for the creation of Israel. Why would they? It had nothing to do with most countries. It was a solution forced on to the Arabs.
  10. No, they didn't. They voted to stop the fighting. Not only that, but we know there is always coercion and influence by the main members. Don't pretend that they voted for the creation of Israel. If it weren't for the Jewish terrorists there would have been no vote at all.
  11. On November 29, 1947, the UN General Assembly passed Resolution 181, recommending the partition of British-mandate Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab states, with Jerusalem under international control. While Jewish leaders accepted this plan, Arab leaders rejected it, leading to a civil war... It was a solution to the problem of terrorism by the Zionists at the time.
  12. Buy for yourself if you want to test. @BritManToo as a grower in the past, seems to think they are okay. That's good enough for many here. You wanted to see the pics. So, now you have them. Not in Thailand eh?
  13. Now that you have seen the products from 7.5 to 15 baht, you can give us your verdict 😊
  14. Mad, as in angry. You cannot even finish reading because you are so uptight and imagine the worst. But nothing I wrote is 'bad'. But you see it as a "rant" 😊 We obviously have a quite different definition of 'rant'. That is a perfect demonstration of how it isn't possible to protect the sensitivities of everyone when posting. There are always going to be hypersensitive individuals. You want me to be responsible for your moods and sensitivities. That's just ridiculous, don't you think? Are you a little child?
  15. I am also growing. You don't notice it because you are mad. Literally every time, you try to deflect rather than to confront yourself. So any normal conversation we have goes the same way because you cannot control your mind. You start thinking that I must be attacking you(or whatever goes on in your mind) and your behaviour changes. But at least you try to have a conversation beforehand. Whereas freddie is in his own world. He cannot have conversation. He can only orate. Anyone who has another perspective is treated to long winded rants and worse.
  16. But you are part of that. You have the choice of keeping it a shared dialogue or turning it into a slanging match. Go back and see where it changed. That way we both get to see what happened and perhaps change it. But if you keep acting the victim and pretending that it's all one-sided, you cannot grow nor change (Another trait you and freddie share). You'll just keep repeating the same behaviour and keep blaming something other than yourself for it. But it's mainly just you and fred, isn't it?
  17. Is that a question for me or you? I don't really understand the question nor the point of the question, but hopefully my reply will cover it. It's a discussion forum, full of opinions. That's what we do here. Some are happy to criticise others, but when it's their turn, they seem to be a little thin-skinned. Prone to hysterical outbursts full of abuse. I don't mind criticism if it's neutral and honest. But yourself and freddie have proven to be more than a little bitter and somewhat stuck in the past. You do not practice what you preach. It's no surprise to me that you didn't take up the offer to investigate what triggered you yesterday, taking a normal conversation between us into sniping from your side. I think I know why that is, because you demonstrate that behaviour regularly. It's your disbelieving mindset. Just as you cannot bring yourself to believe @Cameroni somewhere along the line, you create a scenario in your mind that isn't happening. You make yourself feel cornered and you come out fighting. Changes the whole landscape of the conversation. You see? No abuse or name calling. Just genuine observation.
  18. Anyway...I don't want to get involved in another of your posting frenzies. So I'll leave it there. You are welcome to keep on ranting if you like.
  19. I think you need to look up the meaning of impotent rage and then come back to the conversation. We know to save face that you are going to pretend to have known the meaning all along. That's part of your character. That's a personal observation. 😊 No name calling, just a personal observation. See the difference?
  20. What did you see? Did you see me abuse or make hateful comments? Ironic that you suggest that him making personal observations is okay, but when I make them about he or you, you freak out 😊
  21. This helping others thing is just nonsense. I've not ever seen you on any other threads offering advice on anything other than talking about yourself and covert narcissists. Always claiming to be the best and the most experienced. It's just so ridiculous. 😊
  22. 90 women and multiple failed relationships. Reckless gamblers only want to talk about their wins. Look at the other side. 90 women who aren't being considered, the other side of the failed relationships. Your poor choices until date. You present your stories as facts. But they are just your version of the events.
  23. I am not going to tailor whatever I write for every individual. Some are going to be upset by my words no matter how I write it. You are just going to have to get over it. Deal with yourself. There is no war. That's again in your imagination. We were having a normal discussion yesterday, until something triggered you. Are you self reflective enough to go back to look at what happened and why it went wrong?
