  1. Hi Manao,

I got the visa myself. But it took me 3 days, because they always wanted some paper that I didn't have with me.

I got a one year tourist visa (L). Multiple Entry - 30 days per entry.

It seems like they want a work permit to issue visas, although if you are in Thailand as a tourist, they may give you a Chinese tourist visa only valid for one month.

I don't have a work permit and entered Thailand this time on a 30 day visa exempt, so that was difficult to explain to them.

Take as many supporting documents as possible. I had everything from my wife's Hukou to my China drivers license, and they still were able to ask for something that I didn't have with me.

Reason for Edit: Add "Multiple Entry"

  2. burnt carbon fiber man.

ahhhh o.. Well that is NOT a TSUKIGI as they are stainless steel.. Your thinking of the cheapo ones from Praram.. Look good......but.

Pampal... are you happy with the exhaust? Did you reset the ecu when it got installed? any other info would be good.. Thanks

I am definitely happy with the exhaust. Originally I was planning on buying a more expensive exhaust untill I saw the Tsukigi on another bike. I like the sound and it wasn't overly loud, so no problems from the BIB. It looks good and the can has turned an interesting rainbow tint, which I like. Brian from Sumet had the Tsukigi track pipe on his 250 and that thing is crazy loud. Anyway I haven't reset the ECU and when I first installed it, the bike would sometimes stall after a cold start in the mornings. But after a couple of days that stopped happening.

  3. Pad Krapow Nachos sounds good to me:)

I haven't traveled to Bangkok recently. I plan on visiting Diablos next time I do. I agree spicy Thai sausage ain't Mexican chorizo and would suggest they call it a Thai sausage burrito and claim it as fusion cuisine. If Thai satay style grilled chicken burritos can sell in the US (they do) why not fusion burritos here? How about larb tostadas? Tom yum tacos? Pad krapow nachos?

  4. Thanks for the replies. I was asking as a more general question, not specifically about this resolution.

Russia seems to have an agenda that is easier to see than China. China remains an enigma to me. I know what both do is out of self-interest, but other than what Koheesti posted, I don't know what interest they have, especially the Chinese.

The Chinese interest is probably to keep oil producers well disposed to them.

I met and talked to Russian engineers building a steel plant in Iran in the mid 70's. They have had a presence there for years.

Russia invaded and occupied the northern Half of Iran during WWII and England invaded and occupied the southern Half of Iran at the same time. Iran was used during WWII as a land bridge for materials to Russia to stop the German invasion. Not to mention the use of Iranian oil for the Allied war effort, at the time the world's biggest oil refinery was in Abadan-Iran.
