The Citybike looks like it would hurt your knees as the seat is too low. If they can find some way of adjusting it's height then it would be better in my opinion.
Agreed.

Try Khlong Thom just north of Chinatown
-
HULU doesn't work for me here. I get a message saying it's blocked in Thailand because of copyright issues.
-
I cleared Immigration at 2pm today and the lines were 4-5 ppl. The airport was crowded but not immigration.

You're being foolish, there is no necessity to use a bike in Bangkok. Quite the opposite, you are endangering yourself and your wife by insisting on bringing other countries cultures to Thailand. Take a look around, NO REALLY LOOK, do you see any other bikes? NO? Why do you think this is? Clue in before you or your wife is killed, Bangkok does not have a bicycle culture and you are in grave danger trying to bike around here. Don't be cheap and protect your wife properly.
Open your eyes and you will see all the bikes being ridden in BKK. If you have trouble seeing them, I will show them to you. The number of bicycle riders is increasing everyday.

I ride my bike all the time in Bangkok and nobody gets angry at me or tries to vandalize my bike.
I mostly ride from Chinatown to Nonthaburi, loosely following the river. My favorite parts are the Sanam Luang-Khao Sarn area where I stop to have some fruit. I see lots of Thai riding bicycles. Everything from old pieces of crap to very expensive road bikes and many young Thai riding Fixies. The Fixies are usually in groups of 6-10 riders. They mostly congregate at the Royal Throne Hall after 10pm and practice tricks. Some nights(weekends) there are upto 200 riders there practicing and just being social. It's sad to see so many being apprehensive about city riding. It's fun and I've been doing it for years, only had one minor incident and that was my fault. A couple of Australian girls with big jugs wearing bikini tops caused me to crash into a curb.

I have used my 60Csx on my mountain bike and motorcycle for the last few years. Works well. I use it with a RAM mount.

The only existing 3G you can use in Thailand at the moment is with True. And that too still primarily in bkk.
It's fast enough and you get coverage even in the outer parts of Bangkok
They do make things complicated to get it set up initially though.
1. Go to 7/11 and get a prepaid sim.
2. Take that sim to a true shop to have it exchanged to a micro sim
3. Top up your sim. Choosing the package you want. There's a number of options with highest price being about 699 plus vat per month. But this is for net only. You need to get additional credit for phonecalls. Maybe there's a package that includes both. Ask at the shop and choose the one that suits you best.
By the way the packages allows you to connect to 3G and also their wifi hotspots. The 699 gives unlimited access to wifi
It does work well. So worth the hassle. If u use an iPhone then u can tether to connect your iPad (and other additional laptops if u want)
Wow. For once I actually know the answer to a geeky tech question
You are way off.
I have been using TOT 3G for over a year. It works in most of Bangkok. Even in Nonthaburi.
The speeds are very fast.

Get a Magicjack

They sell mobile phone jammers in MBK

I have Nitto 420S on my PJS. They are very good tires and much better than the stock tires I replaced.
They stick to the ground very well and I also like their wet performance.
-
MY PJS has the Tv Tuner and it was one of the freebies included when I bought it. It has a seperate antenna mounted on the upper left part of the windshield. The whole thing is controlled from the rear LCD screen.

......announced that the hawk systems have undergone warm testing at Khondab nuclear facility near the Central city of Arak and successfully hit their targets.
Doesn't that just give you a warm and cuddly feeling?
Nuclear energy is clean and green. Nothing to worry.
Problems start when someone plans to launch air strikes at these nuclear facilities. A pariah state like Israel even thinks about to 'nuke' Iran
Revealed: Israel plans nuclear strike on Iran
ISRAEL has drawn up secret plans to destroy Iran's uranium enrichment facilities with tactical nuclear weapons.
Two Israeli air force squadrons are training to blow up an Iranian facility using low-yield nuclear "bunker-busters", according to several Israeli military sources.
The attack would be the first with nuclear weapons since 1945, when the United States dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The Israeli weapons would each have a force equivalent to one-fifteenth of the Hiroshima bomb.

So the answer is yes, it gives me a somehow warm and cuddly feeling if Iran has a defense system.
Thats interesting thinking there when the PROBLEMS REALLY START.
Iran has openly claimed a number of times its desire to wipe out Israel from the face of the earth, that includes all of it's over 6 million people of population
Israel has advised it will only strike the actual nuclear plant with 1/4 of a nuke power set to explode hundreds of meteres underground ONLY destroying the plant and not harming anyone or anything else.
So lets do the maths, shall we
PS. do i need to post countless youtube clips and links to hundreds of interviews with Iran, so you do not even try to dispute the facts?
Many glaring mistakes in your post Kuffki.
Iran has never claimed that they will kill 6 million Israelis. They have however claimed to remove the government of Israel. Although those that want Iranians to suffer nuclear genocide would beg to differ.

Would these be the same HAWK missiles that were given or sold to Iran by the USA and delivered by Israeli cargo planes.

Also spared from serving their country are transgender 'katoeys', or ladyboys.......Previously transsexuals were exempted on the grounds of a "psychological abnormality", but that has now been replaced by a "misshapen chest".
I guess that's a good move on Thailand's part. I mean, what army on earth would be intimidated by an army of katoeys running at them with guns bigger than them, makeup, high pitched screaming voices, and boobs bouncing all over. The only tactical advantage that could serve would be to make the other army laugh so hard, the Thai army could mount a surprise attack!!!
The Katoeys on lower Suk are pretty scary and I have seen quite a few people running for their lives, when angering them.

I am a big fan of TPLINK products, but they are way overpriced in LOS. In China and HK they are at least 50 percent cheaper. So if anyone is taking a trip to these places, it might be worth it to buy there.
Yes they seem expensive here. I was looking at the tl-wr1043ND on Amazon this morning and they were $60U.S which should make them less than 2,000bht. They are a lot more than that here but almost impossible to find a price on the usual thai sites.
the good news I have rellies coming from Hong Kong next month so will check it out.
Thanks for the info. Must be the 60 per cent import duty.
Remember if you buy in China you have to flash the firmware from Chinese to English. Takes only a couple of minutes. But if you buy in HK the firmware is already English.
I have to go to China and HK every month for business, so it's easy for me to pick up stuff there. Not to mention cheaper
