I have been attempting to buy an Easy Pass for the last month. Everytime I ask about it, they tell me "finish". They advise me to try next month. This has happened at Hua Lam Phong, Rama IV, Rama IX, Ngam Wong Wan, Phetchaburi and other places.
Where did you buy yours?
please advise

I would bring the bike with you.
I brought a Banshee Morphine with me and didn't pay a penny, but the Scott that I had shipped cost me 8000 baht in customs duties.

I normally ride from Chinatown to Nonthaburi, trying to follow the River.
Lot's of things to see on the way, but involves riding in traffic.

I have three Garmin units, one bought in China, one bought in the US and one bought in Holland. All three work flawlessly with ESRI map version 10.

My experience with I-Mobile differs from yours. I have an older I-Mobile(315) bought 3 years ago that still works well. I don't know about the spare parts issue, since my I-Mobile phones have never had a problem.
Good Luck with Samsung, they make some great phones.
Reason for Edit: Typo

If you want a dual sim GSM-CDMA phone in Thailand, try the I-Mobile TV 638. My GF has one, and uses Hutch and True at the same time. Works well.
You are in India????Oooh India is the land of dreams for a phone guy..... hit the next Samsung store! In India Samsung has at least 8 different dual-SIM models available. Most new-tech phones come to India first these days..... Samsung has available there:
- Dual-SIM GSM-GSM
- Dual-Mode GSM-CDMA
- Dual-Sim Dual-Mode Dual-Standby GSM-CDMA
- OMH - CDMA (open market - works with OMH SIM cards for CDMA which automatically set data channels etc according to provider)
Here i sit, in Thailand, user of two CDMA and two GSM networks, DREAMING of one day going to India and getting me some of those phones which won't come to Thailand at all because here the CDMA guys prefer to sell locked sets. And Indians won't sell to overseas buyers on E-Bay, i have tried that already.
If you really are based in India, please do me a favour and send me a PM. Shortly after Songhkran i will want to buy at least two phones from India and i will ask you to send them to me (obviously after i send you the money). I hope you have PayPal? Or a Thai bank account.
Best regards....

All that gear would end up costing more than the trip.

The thing is the "Thai Huggers" will come out in force and say 'its April fools day" but we are in a country where this is probably a true story!
Hey we use dogs in the fight in afghan against terrorists, sniffing out bombs and generally useful as muslims are scared of dogs (any muslims here like to explain why??) i think they are just trying to copy but same same different, fools!!! ha ha
They are not afraid of dogs. Dogs are considered dirty(Najis). But having said that, many Muslims keep dogs as pets.

I-Mobile has shops at MBK, Fortune, Mall Bangkapi and other places and has a one day repair warranty.

I-Mobile makes a large number of dual sim phones. They are sturdy and work well. I have an I-Mobile Tv 628 and have used it in China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and the US. It's a dual sim- dual talk phone, and doesn't need a restart to activate or deactivate a sim card like the other phones. I-Mobile makes 3 or 4 models of dual sim smart phones with 3G, WiFi and large touch screens for around 6-7 thousand baht

I have a RAM U-Bolt handlebar mount that I use on my mountain bike, also for the 60 Csx. I gave up on the handlebar area of the scooter and tried to find a way to center mount it. The mount for my scooter doesn't really allow that, so I mounted it off-center. I looked at mounting it near the mirror but ultimately the shape of the 60 Csx interfered with the mirror. The car or motorcycle specific Garmin units can more easily be mounted in the mirror area, but the 60 Csx is supposed to be a handheld unit, and it's shape doesn't allow it to be mounted everywhere.

Works fine, the chevron is attached securely. I get a lot of funny looks from the BIB. I guess they haven't seen many scooters with a GPS
-
It's mounted on the front of the bike.
On the black removeable center piece thats shaped like an upside down chevron.
I don't know if that's what you mean by center mounted.
I am currently in Hong Kong, but next week I will post better pics.
