They kept him in lock up for the night and in the morning gave him breakfast.

QuoteYou must have the brown / red key that came with your scooter when you purchased it. If you don't have this key, you will not be able to make a new key work on your scooter, and your only recourse will be to replace the entire ECU unit of your scooter at significant expense. The brown / red cannot be replaced. The plastic card with a key code on it that may be in your instruction manual is worthless.
I think you will have to send the key to the US.
QuoteThe right answer is to clone your blue key. No, your local dealer is unlikely to be able to do that for you. A few large dealers such as AF1 and Scooterwest have that capability.

The question of whether they can live like the opposite gender is a different matter
I am intrigued. How does one live like the opposite sex?
Sex is biological? Gender is just a word.

they stopped issuing letters awhile back
Most countries put a stamp in the old passport that reads something along the lines of:-
"This passport has been succeeded by passport (number) and may be used when presented with succeeding passport for the sole purpose of presenting any visa that may continue to be valid"

Working on a merchant ship you are away from your family for many months at a time getting a meagre hourly wage.
Again more 8ollocks from someone with a meagre understanding of the world. My friend is responsible for keeping your precious roustabout rigs on station. For that he needs a Master's ticket not a survival suit and a helicopter ticket.

Sadly a lot of small businesses selling such stuff have disappeared and been replaced by condos. Try your local market for a store selling buttons and notions.

I was an Engineering Officer on a merchant ship. What you infer is utter codswallop.

I got a ticket for moving into the middle lane (100) doing 120 (outer lane 120), stupid rule really, forces you to stay only in the outer lane even when all three are empty.........didnt pay it
That is a new one on me. Not many three-lane roads up here.
Unless of course it was near an exit and there was a solid line.

That's just another aspect of geophysics relating to glacial ice melt.
Yes but slightly older than "since 1990's" so not related to the human timescale.

Turns out when approaching a U-Turn section on the highway you must reduce your speed to 90klm, there were no signs on the road saying this.
The 120 is only for motorways/roads with no junctions or U-turns. The reduction to 90 when there is a U-turn is a weird asian interpretation but correct.

What is happening is that the mass of ice at the poles that melts ends up becoming part of the water bulge of oceans at the equator. Just like a figure skater can slow a spin by extending arms outward, the added mass at the equator means the Earth spins slightly slower.
Another theory says the planet is swelling a little and becoming rounder because the surface pressure of the ice from the ice age has been removed.

I have a great relationship with my Aussie colleagues and whinging pom is nothing more than a light hearted bit of ribbing. A nod to our shared history. You're reaching with that one.
Q. What's the difference between a 747 and a Pom
A. The 747 stops whining when it gets to Sydney.

Probably not but It is a ferry terminal and both sides are covered with old tires as fenders. But it does depend on exactly where he was and whether he could swim.
