Rubbish. Out of many purchases over many years have sent back maybe 4 packages, never any problem until this one and no problems sending one package back after.
It was the only bad experience so far for me returning broken goods. Know what to submit, when to open the package and video opening, photos of the damaged goods clear description.
Upon receiving the item with video opeing packet, photo the damage and submit the return refund form is about 10-15 mins after receive the item so you are making stuff up about warranty expired etc...
Strange. cant help feeling something is missing from this story, very much out of character??
Sometimes the seller only provides a short warranty, whern it passes that warranty period they will no longer allow return, works like that everywhere, nobody making it up, look around.??? You will also fin=d if that wrranty period has expired the platform will not accept a application for refund.

Nonsense, it was the online platform who blocked the issue, noone else.
The online platform is the one who sent the approval and then when follow the online platform links to return it goes to rejected.
Did you try ringing the helpline? You need to have some patience as often busy but they are usually very helpfull.. Did they give you a reason for rejection, can you post it?

I ordered a treadmill and it broke after a few months. By then the store had disappeared.
Live and learn. Some items you don't order; and everything must be checked immediately. (That's why the 3-day confirm order.)Don't blame Lazada, blame the seller. You could have returned it and Lazada would have refunded your money.
Yes the return/refund process is not at all difficult. They will even pick it up for you but I guess some here would find something to complain about like the time didnt suit or you didnt like the colour of the pick-up etc lol!

there is no return unless the online platform allows it,
Nonsense, not up to platform. Platform would reject only if something contravenes sellers criteria such as trying to return a faulty item after advertised warranty duration passed. Another option to save time and phone calls etc is to deal with seller direct. Sellers generally dont like bad reviews, bad for business. You will find good sellers will want to resolve issues as quickly as possible and avoid bad reviews and the platform has no say in the matter even if it could.

Many stores send cheaper products instead of what we order. Happened to 3 times with LAZADA, I think I will try SHOPPE, never used it. Any experience?
Do you check the reviews? Usually the reviews give you an idea of the shops reputation however sometimes earlier ones are fakes produced by friends. Best to only go for long term good reviews.

Nonsense, I know how the return refund works, have done it a few times. Not going to name the platform but even their chat and tel calls dont work when their mind is made up.
I have the email in my inbox from the online platform where the seller/online platform approved the return refund. I opened the sealed packet with video and photos showing the broken item submitted all of that with a clear description. When I followed the links to initiate return and print return label on the online platform website it directs me to return refund rejected.
Initiated contact with the seller and they were surprised.
No amount of calls and online comnunication with the online platform solved anything, an exercise in frustration and eventually just gave up.
Absolute tripe. You must have done something wrong to be rejected. Maybe outside the warranty date? Ive never had a problem if following the requirements. Id suggest if you cant follow procedures then find another source.

So I assume you are paying COD.
I read a comment above if you refuse an item COD you are instantly banned from future COD purchases
No my wife and sister in law both sell on Lazada and Shopee. Buyers build up a repuation on the platform which records number of orders and percentage of successful deliveries, When seller recieves the order it shows the above statistics. Often times customer orders something COD but finds he/she doesnt have the cash so refuses delivery. Carrier can return/phone one more time to attrempt delivery but if unsucessful the only thing that happens is reputation is reduced. I have never heard of a banning but I would say its not the platform that bans, more likely the seller sees the low rep and refuses to take the risk.

It is no different than buying in a shop where you hand over cash for an item of your choice that should be in good condition . If the item you select in a shop is not in good condition or is damaged , would you pay for it ?
COD provides a sense of security to buyers. They have the opportunity to inspect the product before making the payment, ensuring that they receive exactly what they ordered and in the expected condition. This eliminates the risk of scams or fraudulent transactions, which can be a concern when purchasing online. For instance, imagine ordering a pair of shoes online and receiving a counterfeit product. With COD, you have the power to reject the item and avoid any financial loss.
Of course the consumer protection laws vary depending which country you are in .
No thats not the idea of COD. Imagine the delays if every driver had to wait for every parcel to be opened and inspected. Thats why they have the refund process. If I open and find the item is incorrect or damaged I take a pic/video and arrange return and refund. If the parcel appears damaged on outside I ask the driver to take note, I then take a pic before opening. But I still wouldnt make the driver wait because the refund process has always worked for me.
Please note I am only referring to Lazada and Shopee process however the same has worked for me with ebay, Alibaba and AliExpress etc.

When I receive a chair that is COMPLETELY different from the one I ordered, then I see that as soon as I open the box.
No need to assemble it to see something is COMPLETELY different from what I've ordered.
The OP has already admitted he should have checked it first but instead gave it to someone else to assemble?
If all else fails try READING the post first.

So you are happy to pay for the wrong item or damaged goods ?
No you return it for refund?? I have dealt with Lazada and Shopee buying 100's of items over the years. Very rarely had a problem but of course law of averages says sometimes there is a wrong item or damaged order which is quite easily rectified, they will even pick it up for you.
COD is about ease of payment, nothing to do with any guarrantee of getting the correct item in good condition. Thats why they have an easy return procedure.

Yes peoples habits need to be changed. I worked for a high-so school in Bangkok and it was a daily occurance that parents would arrive with their children, eat their breakfast in the carpark and then sweep all the wrappings, containers, even disposable nappies etc out of the car onto the ground. This with a rubbish bin close by. The school would never say anything in fear of upsetting the cash cow.
Another problem is the lack of rubbish bins in general. Seems no-one wants to supple them be it council or private business for fear of having to pay someone to empty them. The hi-sos seem to think that by throwing their rubbish around they are providing employment for some low-so to pick it up.
I recall some years back someone found a vacant field blooming with wildflowers in Bangkok and posted it on Social Medai. A day later someone else, quite disgusted, posted a photo of the same field littered with milk shake containers, polystyrene lunch trays and assorted plastic bags and rubbish leftby those visitors impressed by natures beauty??!!

One time I received an item cod. I opened the item in front of the delivery guy and found the item was broken. Gave the delivery man a tip and refused acceptance of the item.
I received a warning from the online platform that in future if I refuse to receive a cod item they will withdraw my option to buy cod and would in future have to pay upfront.
If it was Lazada and the normal delivery service like Kerry, Flash etc., the delivery guy should have recorded the item was damaged on delivery. You dont mention platform but if Lazada or Shopee a phone call should have resolved the problem as it is normal practise .

Tips on growing outdoors?
Have some fun experimenting and reading google but try not to become totally obsessed by so many details and theories that you forget to just be happy that most of what you grow will get you pleasantly high.
Totally agree. The other thing that people forget or dont know is the body's tolerance to dope. For 2 seasons I have grown from "Thai brick" seeds, probably from Laos. Its enough for me. I smoke all day but only a small amount at a time, like a single hit long pipe. I can maintain, I can get things done, sure I forget a lot and I ramble on lol! but I have a great time. Now I have a mate who buys the top shelf "hydro" bud that looks and smells so divine, rolls a big fat joint but he doesnt seem more stoned than me? I have a smoke of his and while it sure tastes superior to my poor rustic "bush buds" Im no more stoned? It depends on the bodys tolerance. As you rightly say, dont get obsessed just enjoy!

I'm yet to see a credible figure of how many people were killed as a result of such a 'safe zone' bombardment, or even how many such bombings are claimed. I agree that it would have been better if they did not happen, but a battle zone is not a very orderly place.
Security risk to Hamas vs. increased security for Gazans.
That was my point.
Battlefield mistakes? bwahahaha! Most of the bombings seem very precise and thats what the Israeli propaganda machine spouts as well when it pretends to want to protect p[alestinian civilians lol!
Yes security risk for Hamas of course. I believe Palestinians understand that Hamas is in a last ditch attemp to free Palestinians from under the Zionists boots and understand fully the sacrifice.
The Israelis are butchers without a doubt. There is no way any decent human being can justify the death of over 15,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, overr the death of approx 1400 Israelis. And dont give me the crap about hostages. The Israeli mindset is no different, if not worse, than the Palestinians in seeing the loss of a few citizens an unfortunate loss but worth it for the greater good. Its sickening.
Israel will pay for this insanity, and the USA moreso as this war would not have turned into a genocide and wholesale land theft without their support.

I don't think that there was a mass bombardment of 'safe zones'. Links and maps to attack shown on these topics do not support this.
Here's an idea, though - Hamas got all them tunnels, bunkers etc. - how about letting their own people in?
Did I say mass bombardments? But anyhow any bombing at all in the area of course defeats the purpose of calling them safe areas doesnt it?
Allowing Palestinian civilians into the tunnels would create a massive security risk obviously. Locations of the tunnels, entrences etc would need to be kept top secret.

Told to leave for designated safety zones which were later also bombed. So obviously not their fault. Which ever way you look at it killing over 15,000 (and still rising) innocent civilians is not proportional to the 1400 odd Israelis killed.

Israel losing global support over Gaza bombing, Biden says
in The War in Israel
Posted
Yes you are right, I havnt kept up with it over Christmas as too sickening, both the horrendous slaughter plus the aperthy towards it, extremely difficult to comprehend the lengths some go to condone it.
There have been too many wars of late that have been waged for unjustified reasons and they have got away with it regardless. This has been an influence I believe, on Israels decisions as to just how far they will go. As you say, the UN is completely useless while the veto system is in place, it makes a mockery of the very purpose of the Security Council.
And yes the world is well aware of the US's complicity in the genocide, they leave no doubts of their role.
