No, I did read it, but, obviously, you didn't. The ex-MP was telling or advising by way of expressing his opinion. He did not claim to be in a position to enforce his opinion on the authorities.
Well I am telling you to drop it!!
But thats just my opinion lol!
(you cant see the difference?)

He's not claiming any authority, he's making a point and expressing his opinion, everyone is allowed to do that.
You didnt read the same article obviously. Opinion is very different from told or advised??

Has the Correction Department been 'told' or 'advised'?
Big difference.
Exactly! And am I missing something? The article states this guy is a "former" MP so in my understanding he has no authority to tell or advise anybody bar his dog. Suggest maybe.

I see an awful lot of large luggage (in the full article) being taken along considering this was just a tour to a "well-known restaurant". Perhaps the tourists were anticipating various contingencies. Welcome to Thailand. Be prepared.
They were prepared for the inevitable "brake failure" so packed for a possible hospital stay.

Yes thats right his fault, if he hadnt come to Thailand it wouldnt have happened. (Thai logic)

I guess we will all know in April 2024, when the high season is winding down and
everyone is headed back to their home countries.
Thailand has relied too much on Chinese tourists of late. However the TAT has failed to realise that Chinese tourists dont make monthly payments for sick buffalo like farang do.

I had cancer of the bladder. First sign was bloody urine. Local hospital did ultrasound and reckoned stones. Referred to Kalasin Govt. hospital. Endoscopy discovered cancer growth not stones witch was removed. I have been having endoscopy check ups every three months for 2 years then 6 monthly now. Each time it has cost me 2,000 baht and done by a qualified English speaking Thai doctor.
I have used both private and public hospitals during my 20+ years in Thailand. The first 10 years my employee provided health insurance at private hospital. After I retired I have been using public hospitals for 10 years. I prefer the government hospitals, a lot less bull<deleted> involved.
So there it is, 2,000 baht, Kalasin Government Hospital., I have receipt if you have any questions. I cant say about colonoscopy.
