Schools should only be reopened when all the teachers have been vaccinated for at least a month with the second jab. Those at my daughter's village school have not yet got even their first shot and I would not be happy sending her back to school at all.

The official population of Cha-am is 50,000. 70% is 35,000 so 70,000 doses required to be administered for full vaccination. Any decent journalist would have been asking serious questions as to the apparent shortfall in jabs instead of the usual parroting and cut and paste of a press release.

Even a 4% +ve rate throughout Thailand would mean over 2.5 million cases. The testing rate here is shamefully low.

Yeah shame 70,000,000 other Thais aren't in the same position and will be waiting until at least the end of the year to get whatever the Govt decides for them.

When people live in dreadful conditions in their own country they should not be taken advantage of by traffickers and sold into cheap forced labour and work akin to slavery. Thailand and particularly this Govt should be ashamed this still goes on.
