  1. When people live in dreadful conditions in their own country they should not be taken advantage of by traffickers and sold into cheap forced labour and work akin to slavery. Thailand and particularly this Govt should be ashamed this still goes on.
  2. Most likely got 2 shots of Sinovac some time ago, then the AZ booster and now he's had the Pfizer shot to satisfy Canadian entry rules.
  3. Beyond belief that the number of tests is continuing to fall....one way to reduce the number of cases I guess. A +ve rate of over 40% is appalling.
  4. She not punished yet merely suspended from parliamentary duties whilst waiting for the courts verdict.
  5. Anyone else seen the pic of what appears to be a sniper at Dindaeng Police Station?
  6. Can't wait to see a few hiso's behind those bars after a +ve antigen test.
  7. I'm at a loss to understand why the testing numbers are so low whilst the pandemic in Thailand is worsening at such an alarming rate. The neglect of responsibility seems almost wilful and those in charge must be held accountable.
  8. The required rate is fast approaching 700k per day to meet the end of year target.
  9. I'm inclined to agree with you on that and can see no reason not to have a single total including both PCR and ATK +ves.
  10. Under reporting yesterdays figures for Kanchanaburi again. Late last night they were released as 689 by the local authorities but only reported as 200 above. https://www.facebook.com/276275726406361/posts/739990586701537/?app=fbl
  11. Add on the antigen tests and the figure is well over 26k.
  12. Yeah a bit like your doctor telling you that you've got cancer but it's not all bad news as he's just been promoted.
  13. So on 64 days since the big vaccine rollout began the required target has been met on 2 days.
  14. "....and tests using Antigen Test Kits of students, teachers and other school staff every two or four weeks." Absolutely pathetic, my daughter's kids were getting tested twice a week in the UK as part of safeguarding the school kids.
  15. Helmets and gasmasks? Maybe rubber bullets and tear gas is your answer. Stay home and complain online? Why do you think the present Govt love the computer crime act and why do you think Thailand is near the very bottom for internet freedom?
  16. Yes I'm a foreigner and luckily my wife and I don't have to work so we both have alot of time for our daughter who is four next month. We're lucky too in that her new school, private, is running quite good online lessons although it's difficult for one so young to maintain attention especially when she's in her home environment and confident enough to act up sometimes. I should add that all the teachers in our daughter's school are now vaccinated but in the Govt Schools in the rural area we live the opposite is true so my concern is that the teachers themselves will fall victim to covid when kids return to school and then pass it on to their own families.
  17. Sadly the Govt seem to care little about the kids education. None of the teachers in our local nearby schools have been vaccinated yet. This is in Kanchanaburi.
  18. Absolute crock of <deleted> statement...none of the teachers at our nearby village schools have been vaccinated yet.
