  1. So what is your point? I have seen so many posts on here "discussing" the number of red shirts at a particular rally in a manner to suggest that numbers /support were dwindling. You gave some "reasons" - are they facts? What do you think the english text on some of the displays were going to say - "red shirt brains blown out because he/she was shot by one of his/her own side just to blame the government" and I mean this in jest just in case you think that I am in tune with the rest of you. As far as the gruesome displays go, a) do you want everybody to forget about it? b)How else do you explain the results of head and stomach shots, they fell badly? As for ignoring some aspects did I not say both sides of the conflict were killed.

My point is that over the last few rallies k. Jatuporn has ALWAYS given ridiculous numbers which failed to appear. That's inline with the OP.

All the rest of your latest reply should not be here, but in other threads. We've even discussed some of it before. I will not do that either again or here. Stick to the OP, my dear.

I did not know you was a mod WOW

  2. I am sure Central World Plaza will NOT be doing same to mark the burning of the Shopping Centre.

Nor Center One , Nor Big C.

    How pathetic can you get.

Rally? It was NOT a rally , please don't insult Our Intelligence.

    Show some respect sad man

Yes please do, and don't cha-cha around with suggesting others lack respect. The 'live' displays with English text messages didn't show much respect either. Only some propaganda value when shown on foreign news sites. Distasteful to say the least

So you don't like the concept of free speech ? That is unless it is something that you & your cronnie mob agree with . Dear me

  3. @ blahblahblahblahchachacha

If you were really living here at that time you would know that it were the yellow shirts who gave flowers to the army as the red shirts didn't even exist at that point.

Minor addition: When the Army rolled into Bangkok September 2006 is weren't only yellow-shirts giving flowers, they were mostly normal Bangkok people. And of course tourists liked to make a few photo's with smiling soldiers and flowers as well.

YES YES the BKK people I wonder why only them & only afew . I can prove I was here .All my visas are there to be seen . Actually raining in Pattaya that night . Phone after phone call from family asking if I was ok . I didn't even know what had happened untill they told me

I didn't see any flower giving other than the roses given to the girls in the bars.

Have you not cooked your fellas super yet ?

  4. vote buying with other peoples money . Now he wants the poor to support the regime that killed their sons ,brothers , mothers ,daughters , fathers grandchildren on the streets of BKK

You're talking about k. Thaksin and the UDD leaders, I presume? Don't worry, k. Thaksin didn't know them, not necessary with cannon fodder.

To get back to the OP and my reply with a long list of occasions the minimum wage was increased. It's a recurring item on every bodies agenda, government, opposition, labour organisations, etc., etc.

As for 'poor supporting the regime', with a tax-free bracket of 100,000 THB and possible deductions you are not really poor when you contribute via government tax-income :ermm:

So people minimum wage are not poor ? Dear me

have you been drinking by any chance?

Depends on definition, my dear chap. Would have to check what the Thai governments considered 'poor' over the last one/two decades. I assume it's adjusted regularly (inflation corrected?) like the minimum wages.

As for 'have you been drinking', if the contents of my post suggest this, I'm afraid there may be a few other posters around who had more than a few. IMHO of course :D

so what you are saying is you are lost & dont know what the thread is about. .Maybe you should retrace your tracks when you wake up. Shouldn't you be cooking your fellas super B)

  6. I'm not sure I would call Thailand 3rd World. Internationaly it ranks 30th in GDP, just ahead of Greece and Denmark and just behind Iran and Argentina.

Do you not believe what your eyes see ? Or do you just not understand that in Third world countrys there is a elite that make vast sums but that don't make it not third world .

  7. As long ago as that ? WOW I don't suppose he was even thinking about elections then was he ,

Politicians thinking about elections?? ... Shock!! Horror!!

It isn't quite the same as Thaksin's promise to make everyone rich in 6 months, is it?

vote buying with other peoples money . Now he wants the poor to support the regime that killed their sons ,brothers , mothers ,daughters , fathers grandchildren on the streets of BKK

  8. Vote buying has started . Note no mention of this over the last 2yrs. So it is the Junta way of buying votes without using their own money

"Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva first floated the idea of a 250-baht minimum wage in June (i.e. 2010, rubl). In an address to Board of Trade members, he urged business leaders to think “out of the box” about ways to improve income distribution to promote social reconciliation."

    http://thailand-busi...se-minimum-wage

    From December, 2010:

"THAILAND: To raise daily minimum wage from January"

    http://www.just-styl...y_id109876.aspx

    Plus one from December, 2009:

"Cabinet approves new minimum wage raise"

    http://thailand-busi...imum-wage-raise

Even older, but probably under the late k. Samak, from May 2008:

"Thailand raises minimum wage by 4.6 percent"

    http://www.forbes.co...afx4962258.html

And just for the fun of it a PTP campaign promise, from the 22nd of December, 2010:

"If it wins the mandate to form the next coalition government, Pheu Thai will strive to hike the minimum wage to Bt300 a day and guarantee a starting salary of Bt15,000 a month for university graduates."

  9. This clown is a cancer to this country. He should just remain silent, allow the country to get on with life and he can get on with his. Spending his days with his humpteen billion dollars. :jerk:

Allow the country to be controlled by the Junta . Say it . Clown ? that is one thing he isn't. He has come out & told his supporters that he will play a roll . Now I would say that is a man that has confidence that now the people will vote for his party to be government for the 5th time in a row . Can you tell me when the Junta ever went to the people except to slaughter them on the streets of BKK

No Junta, but the Army was greeted by people with roses when they ousted k. Thaksin in a coup September 2006.

Anyway k. Thaksin, a fugitive, convicted criminal will lead HIS party. He knows all, he will tell all. No need to think, your lord and master will tell you in a very democratic way.

BTW TRT/PPP were voted for FOUR times (more-or-less) in a row for a total of FOUR governments (two under k. Thaksin and TRT; one each under the late k. Samak and k. Somchai, being coalition governments). The third election, in April 2006, was declared invalid by the relevant court.

Are these flowers growing in your head ? It was the red shirts that gave the army flowers .Dear me you obviosly wasn't here was you.

By the people do you mean BKK people ? I am sure you do .How is on that planet of yours

  10. Ah yes a photo of a van with speakers on and a few photos held aloft............................obviously mean it could not possibly have been a day of quiet remembrance...........

Please do try to curb your enthusiasm in your apparent aim to insult the intelligence of the people on this forum

From another observer, nice pictures. Close to 100,000 people it says. Clearly 'quiet remembrance', full of decorum, respect, dignity.

    http://omarhavana.wo...-rojas-bangkok/

Why didn't they pantomime the Red Shirts grenading the soldiers as part of their remembrance ceremonies?

You havent got the respect to show respect .Was you dragged up sad man

  12. Any child breaking things around the house is not to be shot...

wow what logic. Who could imagine such restraint! <<<(insert sarcasm icon)

So any child with a gun threatening another child

and having shot off rounds, or shot another child already,

should not be shot to stop further violence,

    because he is a child,

and we don't do that no matter that they do.

It's OK son, you're too little, go on about your business.

Except this is not about children at all,

it is about a rabble rouser controlled crowd, trying to make an international scene, using violence to bring down the government. With a force of ultra violent ringers in their midst, causing actual deaths and mayhem, to make the violence to blame the government with, seem worse on the world stage. To force the authorities to use stronger force to break up the rally, again, to make the government look bad and then fall.

Not the actions of children by any comparison.

    Gaddiffi supporter ?

  14. why anybody would pay that amount for a flat in a third world country

At the risk of going 'Off Topic '

why anybody would pay that amount for a flat-I would presume because he/she is happy to do so.

    third world country( Thailand)

According to Wikipedia-The economy of Thailand is an emerging economy

Just google Bangkok slums pics if you cant be bothered going out to see for yourself . There is worse than that . I can assure you

  15. Want to see the 3rd world? Cambodia is next door, basically a rice and sewing-machine economy at this time.

Thailand is not a 3rd world country anymore its a NIC - Newly Industrialized Country. Great transportation infrastructure, good medical/dental services available, rapid transit lines, mostly clean water, plenty of food etc.

Do you have a white stick? Have you ever looked round the corner to see the slums ? Do you not see the poverty of the vast majority of Thais .

I'll tell you what don't answer about the stick I already know you have 1 because nobody can be that blind. Dear me. Prob never been away from BKK. But most of BKK is a slum. Mostly clean water ? There is allot of places that haven't got water . They have got dentist . Yes they will pull a tooth for the equivalent of 3 days wages. Rapid transit lines ? it takes 14hrs to go from BKK to Laos by train dear me. Have you ever seen the trains ? or are you on about the Sky train . Well BKK again.

    Now stop being foolish
