  1. pre elections barometers are :

1- the currency actually steady to firm

2- the stockmarket for the 3rd year in a bull trend

3- the economy in spite of the turmoils is raising with the exports strong.

Any moves by ex PM Thaksin and or supporters will create confidence hazards because of his/their past and HIM not been cleared under the laws of Thailand.

PM Abhisit has been working very hard ( not played golf much ! ) the past years and is the one WHO deserves to LEAD the THAI.

    Let's it be

by adoption a fan with all my respect for A strong, patient, soft hand, stamina superb education character PM Abhisit Please carry on.

So just ignore his crimes against humanity . All that murder on the streets of BKK yet you say deserve Deserve .Gaddaffi springs to mind . Do you also support him ?

As you well know, his 'crimes against humanity' have not been proven by anyone. Robert Amsterdam has tried to do so in the media and has failed miserably. In fact, the only physical evidence was DISproven when it turns out the Red Shirts evidence (a doctored audio clip) had been fabricated. But you know all this of course.

If you're going to level 'crimes against humanity' charges against anyone, it should be Suthep who was in charge of the CRES during early April. But he didn't actually do anything wrong - Kwanchai and the Khon Rak Udon group had attacked the 1st Infantry Barracks with petrol bombs 4 hours previously and so Suthep ordered the army to go in and clear the protest at Khok Wua and drive the protesters back to their protest site - without all guns blazing - and were taken out, rather hard, by what you can only call armed insurgents. It is possible the army shot some protesters on 10 April afterwards either in retaliation or self defence, but that is speculation on which we cannot make an informed judgement because we don't know the facts - this is of course the DSI's fault, although you can't say they are working amongst the best conditions.

In May, you'd have to bring charges against Anupong. Even then, it would be hard to pin charges on them due to their adherence to the internationally-recognised method to clear violent/unlawful protests. So, that leaves the soldiers themselves and I somehow don't think any charges will get levelled at the military. Also, Payap Panket unreservedly deserves a crime against humanity charge for invading Chulalongkorn Hospital.

Despite our civil discourse earlier, I must pull you up on this. Claiming that it is a fact that Abhisit is a murderer is morally wrong and you should probably be ashamed of yourself. Please state in the future that this is your opinion - otherwise you look like a troll or something. It is my opinion that last year's violence was down to Thaksin paying both the Red Shirts to create a popular movement and the "Ronin Warriors" as a separate agency to create chaos by summary killings of those on both sides to instigate civil war, with a view to clearing a path for him to return as the country's saviour. But I would not claim that as a fact (unless proven as one) - it would be wrong.

So you support Gaddaffi as he has said that the rebels are terrorist ? Or is it 1 law for 1.He killed his own people just as what happened in BKK

Oh, & why should I be ashamed ? its not me that murdered almost 100 people or me that supports the murder that done it or ordered it done

  2. Opponents of Obama will hate anything he does. Like he has said if he says the sky is blue, they will say no, it isn't. They have been proven to change their own position on a dime if Obama makes a decision they would have liked, then they don't like it because it is from Obama. Yes some of those reactionary people are racists, a huge portion of Americans still have doubts that Obama is American, that is basically insanity.

I always detested Bush but on the few occasions that he did something I approved of, I had no problem being honest and giving him credit. Too bad so many Obama bashers act like spoiled children.

Especially when it wreaks of hypocrisy and contradiction. I'm still just peeved at how he got into office on his criticisms of same responses by past presidents saying how "change" was the new order.. Was he that naive or just blatantly lying to get elected?

I have given him credit for his actions but now there are others just as deserving it seems, but what to do?

So why are you surprised at what is happening ?

Didn't display any surprise, only dismay..

The rest of your post is not worth a response...

Because you know it to be correct . You could always call a friend LOL

Taking your Gadaffi analogy further, please identify the international condemnation Abhisit faced for his handling of the red shirt armed occupation. Thanks.

I think about the same as has been leveled at all the other murder regimes in the middle east .However that dont make them not murderers . Was Hitler ever condemed during the war ? I think you will find that a blind eye was used . The west is good at that arn't they ?

Lets not forget that 4 wks ago the west was big friends with Gaddaffi

There has never been a liberal President .In fact most presidents would of got into Hitlers inner circle. The difference between the US parties is 1 policy Health care. One party wants the poor to die on the streets & the other wants them to die in hospital out of sight.

There is no difference in their murderous christian campaigns or that they are puppets of the Banks & the Multinationals.

So why are you surprised at what is happening ?

Have you seen this poor rebel army ? They have better weapons than the British army. What is going to happen when or if these rebels reach the parts where Gaddaffi is popular ? is the UN going to protect the citizens of them Cities ?

You can write your own exclamation so long as Mr.B.J., doesn't delete re. T.V. Rule no.7.....

    (7) Not to post slurs or degrading comments directed towards any group on the basis of race, nationality, religion, gender or sexual orientation.)

Is this why you didn't give a piss test

  7. ''I have supported City since 1963 & have never witnessed Manyoo fans going to the match from North Manchester''

That is probably the most fuc_kwitted thing I;ve read here.

I'm sorry mate but you are an embarrassment to City fans. You are the embodiment of a 'bitter' you sad buffoon.

Well said mate he sounds like a retarded 14 year old kid with his posts!

As for the no united fans from manchester they even had a 9 page thread on there own website dispelling this myth.

All these expert non Mancs trying to save the day with insults . However do they have they can they prove me wrong Nah lol . That is because I am right.

Manyoo fans in Manchester are armchairs fact

  8. What a tosser! ^

''I have supported City since 1963 & have never witnessed Manyoo fans going to the match from North Manchester''

I sent a PM to his guide dog and she confirmed it. Woof Woof!

Where you fall down is you dont know Manchester other than looking at a map . I have found glory hunters are good when they have time to look things up on the net but really would you need to when you have spent your life in Manchester ?

Face to face they fall usually at the first question .

  9. What a tosser! ^

''I have supported City since 1963 & have never witnessed Manyoo fans going to the match from North Manchester''

Yes the swampies have never liked the fact that Manchester is Blue

  10. Not sure & stand to be corrected but is there not a clause in Thai law that there can be no prosicution of people if they are serving as Government MPs.

I think the case of Jatuporn shows that this immunity goes for any MP, not just a Government one ?

So it seems so it seems . I wonder why the junta supporters are not jumping up & down about him

  11. I think it would be hilarious if the Thaksin associated parties were to somehow win the next election. The sheer joy of knowing that some ofThaiVisa's spewers of venom would be worried and looking over their shoulders would do it for me.

Who can say what makes us tickle and why? For me, Thaksin actually being brought to justice, along with any other corrupt politician, would make me pretty happy, maybe even enjoy a little chuckle. Don't suppose his legion of fans here on Thaivisa would share my joy.

So all corrupt politicians brought to justice ? So that just leaves the junta . What about them ? Are they not corrupt ? So who then The Police so lets have a police state .Whoops they are corrupt Who next ??????????

  12. I find it interesting that it's PM-Abhisit, who is the person actually suggesting the possibility, wonder what his motives might be ? 'Vote for us, or it could be worse' ? ! B)

Or is he stealing the PTP's best (and only) line ?

I find it remarkable that people are having trouble seeing what is going on . First the release of Red Shirts now this. Could it be that people are trying to find favour with the PTP ? because they know there is only one outcome to the election & that will pave the way for Thaksins return.

Not sure & stand to be corrected but is there not a clause in Thai law that there can be no prosicution of people if they are serving as Government MPs.

  13. Thaksin will be back only the stupid think otherwise. There is no stopping that Red shirt train . The next election after this will bring home to Thailand & his place as leader of the Government .

Yep. Who cares about all the laws he's broken. All his supporters who complain about the "elite" getting off crimes ignore that they want their leader to do exactly that.

What you seem to want is an unlevel playing field .Where one lot do what they want but the other (Thaksin) should be an angel. What is going on here is only the same as what goes on in the self proclaimed bastion of democracy USA.

What I would like is the people complaining about double standards not to demand double standards when it suits them.

I would like it if there was no corruption, but I don't think going back to Thaksin is the right direction to achieve that.

Must say the other lot had power for many many years before any Red Shirt Government & they didn't want to stop corruption . Hey , they have power now until the election & still didn't do anything .

  14. Sure he can come back serve his time,

and then go through all the other trials he is due for.

No doubt some will try and make sure he is caught in flagrante delicto in something so repugnant even his red supporters will turn up their noses in disgust. Yeah leave him around, but politically maimed and defaced.

    I feel your love LOL

    You keep dreaming Haha

  15. Thaksin will be back only the stupid think otherwise. There is no stopping that Red shirt train . The next election after this will bring home to Thailand & his place as leader of the Government .

  16. That's a funny assumption to make based on my post. To answer, no I don't think that.

I think that, whether Peua Thai split into two or more parties or not (which I don't think is relevant because they'll go into coalition regardless), the elections will yield a similar count to the current situation - a Democrat-led coalition - but I also think the Democrat-led coalition will be slightly more powerful than it is now due to defections.

As to whether the Reds are split or not, I have a 1-word question for you...

    Thaksin?

More powerful ? So the army are to get better equipment ? Just as I thought you think a junta by proxy which is what the Democratic (LOL) lot are. Thaksin is the guy that all the Red shirts admire . Nothing any propaganda can do about that.

The people that defected will prob not win against the Red candidate . People voted Red & they will again .

  17. I understand the concern entirely. If there is an uprising in Saudi, that's going to be a real crisis. The west is fine with the repression there, while at same time mouthing freedom and democracy rhetoric for other countries. So if there is a popular uprising in Saudi, how does the west react?

There was a uprising & it was crushed

  18. Fill in the forms, send them along with your old passport to a family member back in the UK and get them to post it off for you. ( i use Glasgow - about 3 or 4 days )

If you were allowed to do this everybody would do so, but you cannot, or at least shouldn't.

One of the reasons the Consulate in Hong Kong allows you to send a copy of the bio page from your passport, as opposed to the passport itself, is the requirement to carry your passport with you in Thailand, or at least have it available.

Just wondring who do you get to sign the back of photos ie; to confirm it is you

  19. This is just one more example of how Thai power groups have no concept of what democracy is. Just as we have seen with the Red Shirts, albeit in different ways, the Yellow Shirts are taking the attitude of -- if we can't win controlling power, it's not democracy. Actually what they want is the antithesis of democracy.

If I recall correctly the yellow shirts were not looking for democracy. They wanted only 30% to be elected and 70% to be appointed.

The PAD (whom I differentiate from the broader Yellow Shirt movement much like I differentiate the Red Shirts from the UDD) were promoting this "30% democracy" because they (Sondhi) felt that Thailand was not yet politically evolved enough to warrant a full 100% democracy. That's why they were claiming that diminishing the electorate's political voice was actually in the best long-term interests of the country - so that, when the "uneducated" have become "educated", full 100% democracy can be restored.

Obviously this idea is full of holes and the majority of Yellow Shirts (as opposed to the PAD) didn't support it when the idea was bandied about on the PAD stage during 2008 and do not support it now. I think this is why the PAD only attracts a couple of thousand these days; I think the leaders have gone a little too far out with their ideology for the majority of their past supporters.

    True .

They have prob already done the deals to sneak into positions of government . All parties that oppose the reds are pulling out of the election .They know that to stay in the running they are splitting the vote . However the Red Shirts will win . You can tie to birds together & although they have 4 wings they cannot fly . The Red Shirts are just 1 bird & will fly into power

    1) The Red Shirts are 1 bird? Really? I thought the Red Shirts were a loose coalition, with several disagreeing factions.

    2) All parties that oppose the reds are pulling out of the election? Really? I thought that no parties, opposing the Red Shirts or otherwise, have pulled out of, or even suggested a pull-out from, the upcoming election.

    3) The Red Shirts will fly into power? Really? I thought there were 2 political parties trying to champion the Red Shirts - Khattiyatham (tiny) and Peua Thai (heavily split, just lost one of their highest-profile public figures).

Notwithstanding the inaccuracies of your post, the evidence at this stage certainly suggests the opposite of what you are trying to suggest. Unless I have got it all wrong of course...

So you think another junta by proxy . The Red shirts are not as you wish to think split . They will win & the army will overthrow them & put back in power thier puppets .

  20. Does it mean that even after the Chanote is transfered we could still be liable for dealings the previous owner has made.

Any recommendations on a lawyer? Any idea of the costs? thanks.

Yes is the simple answer. All debt will stay with the house unless paid off. For what it will cost a lawyer is the way to go. They will check with the land office if any debt is tied to the property. If you have a copy of the chanote you could prob check it yourself at the land office. Better to be safe in the land of scams
