Again, try to open up your gray cells, my family on both sides have a history of blindness. 2002 left eye retina detached, I still have a plastic clip in the back of that eye. 2019/20, had 2 eye lens changed, could not see. The first lens change ended up giving me a detached retina in the right eye, a small risk with lens replacement, I was unlucky.. If it wasn't for modern expertise I would be blind now. 2022, fingers crossed all still OK. Any more questions......? ????

Really, in Thailand I had a detached retina, there was nowhere in Ubon province to fisk it, I had to go on a 500km road trip to a hospital that might be able to fix it, thankfully they did. In 2002 I had the same in the UK, I was operated on that same night. ????

That is another subject, mon ami, but any foreigner burned in similar circumstances in the UK would be taken care of immediately, no question....????

Every operation I had in the UK required my signature because of risk... An incurable disease I had (now in remission) was controlled by medication, my consultant told me there was a drug which would be of great help, but, it has a mortality risk. A drug for those where it was worth the risk. So I skipped that one....????

Yes I know about the Swift, I posted on the Celerio as we have had one for years. I also mentioned the change of wheel rims/tyres which eliminates any roll... Stock, 14x5, now 15x7, highly recommended. The Celerio is a town car, it is sold as a town car, park it anywhere, but it is a mistake to think it can't handle highway cruising, because we have done a few 5 hour non-stop trips. Back in the day I drove all over England in 1960's Mini's and 1100's, no A/C or power steering, but if one is frail, then I suppose a bus maybe preferable..????
