    One of the 1st newspaper reports I read nearly 20 years back carried a photo of a cop proudly holding up a severed leg like a fisherman with a prize catch.

    I sat in a becalmed Bangkok taxi yesterday and watched a Tessakit official stalk two smoking farangs. It was like a David Attenborough documentary as the official moved in for the kill only for the prey to stub out their cigs and dispose of them in rubbish bags waiting to be collected. His face resembled that of a lion's as a monkey alerted the zebra to the predator's proximity.

    Sattahip Police Station is a den of iniquity. A bent copper there extorted 15K from my ex explaining he would make my next year's visa application 'very difficult'.
