  1. I am suprise the immigration at airport let her go out from country without your consent.

Does you kid family name is your own name on passport or mother name ?

Flying to China will need a visa, does the consulate in Bangkok issue a visa for a kid without consent of legal father, have to check.

Does new husband is chinese and are they married ?

During the divorce, did you mention on documents your visiting rights, amount of money you pay for child custody to mother, etc.

By the way, the first step will be to hire a lawyer and sue her at court as soon as possible, you should not have wait so long to proceed. Ask to court to revoke her parental power, you might have a chance.

When I divorced, I have clearly made a condition that kid could not be take abroad without consent of both parents or parental power will be revoked to the one who did not respect it.

Later when the mother did not let me see kid for 3 months, I sued her and obtain that my exact custody was writen on court agreement, 2 days per week, half of school holiday.

Be aware than in Thailand, mother have many rights more than you... but you have rights also. Take the kid abroad without your consent and don't let see her anymore is a serious offence.

The profile of the mom is important also, show that she was bad woman and bad mom is a plus, judge will consider it.

Good luck and let us now how is going the file.

  2. Prenuptial agreement is a must and I talk with experience.

Don't forget to give a copy at ampur (thai version).

For the foreign AS/SET, I also gave a copy to my embassy for registration.

Regarding the properties bought after marriage, if you pay 100% and don't want to share in case of Divorce, I suggest to buy a condo in your own name.

If you buy a house, It will be better that the company was created before the marriage.

It depend always how the divorce is easy or not but always remember, if you are the one who leave, most of Thai women will want to get lot of your money to save face with family and friends.

  3. I think, in her mind, it is 1 Million baht Sinsod laugh.png

Who pay a sinsod for a girl who have already a kid ? No Thai Guy will pay a satang, believe me !

At least, her family is so happy that she found a decent farang to take care the daughter and her kid..

Anyway, I am totally against the Sinsod and the gold diggers...

When a Thai woman start to talk about money, put the things under her name, that is a strong WARNING about her goal.

So, If you are not ready to lose 1M, don't invest 1M in a Thai woman, got it ??? whistling.gif

  4. How would you prove the child is living with you, specially if it is to young to confirm this him/herself?

For example the child is registered in the blue book at his mother's home but lives with you in a rented condo?

Photos together in and around the house.

Requirement for child to go with you to immigration for the application.

House visit by immigration for first extension application..

I applied this Visa extension last year in Bangkok for the first time.

They did not care much the pictures at home. They also did not visited my house.

I bring my child for the application. Seems important that kid was going to school, have to show school certificate.

I share custody of the child, mean she doesn't live full time with me and I am divorced from the Thai mother.

I made a large report of the application here :

    http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/647453-non-immigrant-visa-o-divorced-but-have-child-update/#entry6518823

Not sure Phuket immigration will follow the same rules but as you married the mother even for a short time, you are legally the father and could be grant the 0 Visa.

    Please report your experience here.

    Good luck.

    yingluck-16-wpcf_728x413.jpg

BANGKOK: pp Caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said today she was willing to die in the battlefield to defend democracy rather than letting anybody to destroy democracy.

On her Facebook page, Ms Yingluck posted the following message: “In the capacity as the defence minister or as a soldier who has to perform his duty to the last minute, the soldier must die in the battlefield. Today in my capacity as the defender of democracy, I prefer to die in the battlefield of democracy rather than letting somebody else to destroy our democracy.”

Thai drama sitcom is coming in politic now, it is become so ridiculous while people dying nearly everyday in bombing or snipper shoots. Does she care about the 2 kids died recently in Bangkok. Those kids, them, they really died in REAL for what ? As prime minister, her first mission is not to protect population and solve conflicts ?

Moreover,as the head of the government of "Thaksin democratic Thailand", why she did not ask her beloved fugitve brother to comeback to Thailand face all the accusations of corruption and get his jail sentence ? Is that the Thaksin democracy ?

I won't be surprise if the army go back to power soon as this situation have no issue with such idiots, civil war is too dangerous for the country future.

  6. I used to forget my phone in a taxi cab in Bkk at night, few minute later I was keep calling to talk to the driver on my phone number then he switched off the phone after a few rings...

Taxi driver could be act the same way and never go to jail...

I guess many people forget stuffs in taxi and never got back and I am not talking about all the scams of Taxi drivers especially at night... If you report the case they will be fine by the police and ... nothing.

It is not mean I approve what this dude did bad, just wondering why we are talking about 5 years in jail, especially since the driver got back his phone...

Maybe police need some cash and smell the good deal to make with the kiwi family of the Young fellow.
