I had a very comprehensive check up 3 months ago at Ram's check up centre (in the recently built facility just south of the main hospital). Smooth, speedy service. The cost was 8,951B, which struck me as good value.

The One Chiangmai condo near Central Festival claims that it will have the biggest pool in Chiang Mai. I don't know how they define "the biggest pool", but if you are looking for such may be worth going to their onsite sales building and asking for further information. The condos themselves are still being built but the basic structure is there.

For an occasion, go to L'Elephant. It has everything---atmosphere (it is like dining in someone's beautiful dining room), excellent food and service. I think excellent value also considering the quality. They have a three course menu, with lots of choices for each course, for 888B++. The restaurant is in the Nimman area
