I think the aluminium ones have to have the ringed bottom suitable for induction. Some have copper inserts. 1800 watts should be enough. Think about an electric hot pot/slow cooker, they are great for meat potatoes and vegetables

Bought a house here last year with my missus. Had to get a credit report for the bank. The credit bureau office is near Asok Phetchaburi Road junction at the back of True Tower in the Government Housing Bank. Bring your passport and they will produce credit report based on this and your name. Think it was 100 Baht. SCB was happy with this.

bother to check the embassy's website is his own fault and not the embassy's staff.
