  1. Oh yes, fingerprints, forgot that. Oh dear, he is in trouble then.
  2. That's what I thought all along. He stopped trying when Covid came and hasn't attended to it since. But how they gonna know if he reports his passport as lost and gets a new one. They won't have the new one in the system and he should be okay right?
  3. Thank you for this, so I was right then? I thought so, now I need to work out how to brake it to him. I guess applying for a new passport because he lost his old one doesn't work right?
  4. I have a friend who has overstayed by three years now. He tells me all he has to do is book a flight out, pay a 20,000 baht fine and then come back, is this correct? He has never been in trouble before for anything but I told him I don't think its so simple. Who is right, me or him?
  5. That's not actually too far from the truth. There are documentaries on what's happened to Sihanoukville as a result. It's not pleasant viewing, especially the DW one.
  6. In broad terms, the thais see this as a teenage thing. That's what they do when they start out, often in their teens or when at school even. They usually move into smoking because its more controllable and you don't stay high for as long. It's less intense you could say. But as it so happens, ice has taken over from yaba anyway, and most do ice now.
  7. If they smoke it between 5-10 I would say. They are sold in packets of ten usually.
  8. Someone has taken it or someone has given it to the wrong person. Since ID and codes are required, I suspect the latter. If so you should report it because that is theft.
  9. Yes, and although its some time ago, it has actually snowed in Thailand before. There is some evidence of this.
  10. I did it once en route to Penang and that was enough, I shan't be going back.
  11. I went to Danok once and spent the night there. It was rough, I didn't like it.
  12. It used to be that way yes, I assume it still is. So they hop the border to get their oats. Okay, got it.
  13. Yeah, I went through there 15 years ago and that's exactly what I saw. I couldn't believe how much action there was going on. So they stay mostly in the south, that's what I thought.
