Hello there. When you come into the kingdom, they give you a 30 day stamp, which you can then extend for another 30 days at immigration if you pay 1900. How many times can you extend it? Are you allowed to do it once only? What then? Have to leave the country?

Hi guys, just a quick question. I can't help but notice around Bangkok that gold and money are easily found in temples. I thought Buddhism was about abstinence and the removal of desire, so why is both money and gold of such importance in the temples I see in Bangkok. Do temples like to show their wealth? I would have thought your average temple would look more austere than the ones I see.

Hi guys, I have been using Ubuntu for about a week now and I realized I don't have any defences, firewall, anti-virus and so on. Do you really need them with Linux or is that more a windows thing?

Greetings all. I am heading for a number of upgrades later in the year. I haven't been in thailand for a few years and wanted to know do any of the IT malls (for example Pantip) have stores or shops that specialize in Linux Installation? I made a complete mess of Zorin earlier in the year and can't remove it and so am going to start again, perhaps installing several systems. I would rather pay someone to do to it rather risk making the same mistakes myself. I did this once before in Pantip with Ubuntu but this was over 10 years now. All help appreciated.
