Yes, pretending that there isn't a 2 tier system in place, because it is currently weighted in your favour. Gaslighting.
-
It's about how the law is enforced. For example, the "mostly peaceful" BLM riots compared to the Patriots march. The now jailed anti immigrant posters compared to Labour's "slit their throats" Ricky Jones who still walks free. Too many examples to mention. Keep up the gaslighting though... It's in your favour - for now.

Pro Palestine is typically a left wing position. Pro Life is typically a right wing position. I understand the how the 2 tiers work perfectly well thanks.

So let me get this right... Intimidating - illegal. Totally not intimidating and 100% legal. Got it. Seems totally consistent and not 2 tier whatsoever. 😃

Just as those who saw no issue with Labour using volunteers to campaign for Harris are now mortified about Trump's comments on the UK's war on Freedom of Speech.
-
What about if he just sends "volunteers", like Labour did to campaign for Harris in the election?
-
The police were too stupid to realize he was being ironic/sarcastic. Plus, he had some "Brexity" books. I think one might have even been by Douglas Murray. The horror.
-
No, I think that the right to peaceful protest and the freedom of speech are cornerstones of our Democracy. It appears that is now dependent upon what you are protesting/talking about.
-
Nah, without the pearl clutching forum traffic and general amusement would be greatly reduced. Jog on, Bob.

The people who travelled were volunteers. Labour employees arranged it all. Specifically their head of operations, Sofia Patel. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c62m2pde4p6o

I understand perfectly. The left loves to silence dissenting voices. I'm surprised you are not giving The Tories more credit seeing as you are so fond of this law. The law doesn't cover praying in silence.
-
Yes, they were volunteers acting on behalf of the UK's ruling Labour party. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c62m2pde4p6o

Nothing to do with someone silently praying. But I understand that you wish to ban protesting about things you personally agree with.
-
Yes, heaven forbid they are "inconvenienced" by someone silently praying as they head to terminate their unborn child.

Health COVID-19 Cases in Thailand Surge to Ten Times Flu Levels
JonnyF replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Just recovered from it myself. Caught it in BKK. Really bad cough, sore throat (painful to swallow), fever, shivering, aching body, bad headache, nasal congestion. Symptoms were bad for 4 days, then moderate for 4 days. I just took Tylenol and cough mixture, plus a nasal inhaler.- 82 replies

Yeah my mother has had a few minor health issues recently, takes several weeks to get an appointment and even then it's usually a Zoom call. They don't seem to like people turning up at the surgery 'face to face".
-
Yeah well that's a bit like saying you only have to pay income tax if you tell them you earned the money. I'd be questioning my choices in life if I found myself having to lie in order to access the NHS's haphazard/substandard healthcare services.

Good to see Trump cares about the free speech of British citizens, even if Starmer doesn't. Thanks Don. Arrested for silently praying. Sounds like something out of a Monty Python sketch. But no, this is modern Britain. Shameful.

No chance. I'd want an appointment before I died so I'd stay well clear of the NHS and go private here in Thailand. I wouldn't know (I self insure and would never rely on the NHS), but I thought there were rules about NHS access for people who'd been overseas for many years.
