Starmer’s Brexit Reset: A Strategic Shift or a Sacrifice?
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
That's what disingenous Libs claim we wanted. Not what we actually wanted. But you already knew that. -
Starmer’s Brexit Reset: A Strategic Shift or a Sacrifice?

We told you hundreds of times what it should look like. You just don't listen, then claim nobody spoke. 😃 -
Starmer’s Brexit Reset: A Strategic Shift or a Sacrifice?
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Funny how all you Libs claim Trump will be the death of Democracy yet support Starmer rolling back Brexit without a mandate. Access to EU defense spending? 😃- 99 replies

Robert De Niro Slams Donald Trump in Cannes Acceptance Speech
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
That's the problem. His acting is no longer strong enough to forget who he is. I don't see the character. I see De Niro playing a character. We all decline with age. Like boxers it is sometimes best to bow out in your prime. Nobody wants a ruined legacy. -
Germany Aims to Build Europe’s Most Powerful Army, Says Chancellor Merz

Germany is done. Prop up the EU for a few more years then they have no use for you. -
Robert De Niro Slams Donald Trump in Cannes Acceptance Speech

Can't watch De Niros movies any more. Watched a bit of The Irishman but every time he appeared on screen I was expecting him to break out into his "Trump is a MFER" spiel. Turned it off. Sad way to end a great career. He was excellent as Max Cady. -
Albania Snubs Starmer after Rejecting UK Migrant Return Hubs

The guy has no idea what he is doing. Britain made a terrible mistake. -

May as well. They will have a lot of manufacturing capacity available now that nobody is buying German products. -

Of course it's true. Tariffs on imports encourage local production and consumption. Why do you think you see so many Ford Rangers on Thai roads instead of Ford F150's? The Thais get it. Western Liberals are dumb as... -
Mark Carney Rebukes UK Over Trump Invite, Reasserts Canadian Sovereignty
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Upset? 😀 I have zero interest in Canada. If they want to self destruct with Carney that's up to them. They are a little irrelevant sovereign country they can do what they like. It's mildly amusing that Carney didn't care about Britain's sovereignty when undermining Brexit but he's suddenly a proud advocate of the nation state now that the US wants Canada in the same way the EU wanted Britain. But hey. He's a leftist so how could he not be hypocritical? It's on the application form. -
Robert De Niro Slams Donald Trump in Cannes Acceptance Speech

Agree. The other members of the Liberal Elite Wokerati in attendance. It's a massive echo chamber. When a muppet is surrounded by hundreds of other muppets doing the seal clap, it's not so obvious that the muppetry is at peak levels. -
Tourism Thai Hotels Brace for US Tariff Impact Amid Slow Tourist Recovery
JonnyF replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Can't vape, can only buy alcohol at certain times of the day, can't drink it (or smoke) on the beach, some days all bars are closed, poor air quality during the nice cooler/dry season, prices up dramatically. Not exactly a dream destination for most people. The mongers will still come for the girls but the quality tourists they crave will likely go elsewhere. -

They are being made overseas because they are cheaper. That will no longer be the case. More films will be made in the US, benefitting the US film industry. Hardly. https://variety.com/2025/film/box-office/robert-de-niro-alto-knights-box-office-flop-1236345946/ -
He'd fit in well with the current Labour government. Maybe get a job working alongside Lineker at The BBC? https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/uk/gary-linker-calls-to-be-sacked-antisemitic-post-campaign-complaint/

Mark Carney Rebukes UK Over Trump Invite, Reasserts Canadian Sovereignty
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Same in Britain. "Anyone but The Tories" they cried. Now we have Starmer. 10x worse. -
Exactly. I'd have absolutely no issue for example helping the farmers that are being forced out of South Africa under the threat of extreme violence as their politicians sing "Kill the Boer". Real people who are prepared to work and are in genuine need of help are always welcome. The unskilled dross washing up on the shores from France because there are more benefits available in the UK? Not so much.

The only hope for the UK is a Reform victory at the next election. Anything other than that and it's all over. May as well pack your bags (as I did). I think the politicians in their leafy suburbs are completely unaware of the seething anger in the country and if they continue to ignore it I think it could get very messy indeed. The British people have been extremely tolerant thus far, but everyone has a limit. If their tolerance/generosity is continually thrown back in their faces along with the usual insults then I fear the worst. Let's hope sanity prevails and we get a government that actually acts on the behalf of the British people instead of selling them out for their own ideologies or vanity projects.

Milwaukee Judge indicted for Aiding Immigrant's Escape from ICE Custody

While I doubt she will be found guilty, I sincerely hope she is, in order to deter other such lefty extremist activist judges to think they are above the law.- 51 replies

That's the trouble when you vote for someone for all the wrong reasons. You end up with someone like Carney. Good luck Canada, you'll be needing it.- 38 replies
