  1. Does anybody know how much postage is for an airmail letter from Thailand to the U.S.?

It's generally 28 baht for a "normal" letter. I can't recall whether that rate is for a letter under 15 grams or under 20 grams. Unsealed letters are a bit cheaper.

Wow ovenman, thanks for the quick answer!

Yes, I just want to send a one-page letter.

So ave you sent the letter yet?

  4. We want to travel to Oz next year in May and June 2005 and want to get the best deals possible on RV rental, airfare etc. Therefore we want to arrange everything way ahead of time .

We need visa for Thai partner-we hope to know how to manage that --but the question remains WHEN can we apply . Some websites say up to a year before travel ,now the travel agent says only 1 month before travel .That would be an absolute bummer ,since we could not rely on having the visa and make bookings now already.

Any up to date info on this from our Ozzi friends ??

  5. In Dublin's fair city, where the girls are so pretty

I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone,

As she wheeled her wheel barrow, through streets broad and narrow,

Crying cockles and mussels a-live a-live Oh

    A-live, a-live oh, a-live a-live oh,

Crying cockles and mussels a-live a-live oh

She was a fishmonger, and sure twas no wonder,

For so were her father and mother before

And they both wheeled their barrows, through streets broad and narrow,

Crying cockles and mussels a-live a -live oh

    A-live, a-live oh, a-live a-live oh,

Crying cockles and mussels a-live a-live oh

She died of a fever, and no one could save her

And that was the end of sweet Molly Malone

But her ghost wheels her barrow through streets broad and narrow

Crying cockles and mussels a-live a -live oh

    A-live, a-live oh, a-live a-live oh,

Crying cockles and mussels a-live a-live oh

I'd love to see that Scamp,Ning pushing the wheelbarrow down Moore's Street.
