No different than the USA. I can't count how many times I would be following a Mercedes or BMW home from work and watch them pull into the trailer park (aka mobile home park).
Just stopping in to visit their sideline lady.

No really. If so called fiat currency is so bad why is it the only thing accepted via cash or credit cards? Why won't anybody accept gold coins or shavings thereof for daily commerce? Pretend i'm a complete idiot and explain it clearly. No more thinly veiled insults please.
Sorry I do not deal with complete idiots. See a psychologist.
In the meantime consider convenience.

Scratch off a filling from the side with a knife? Will they staff weigh it on a gram scale? What is the exchange rate?As I understand Starbuckss only accepts so-called fiat currency.
You may just win the contest for making the stupidest post of the month. Congratulations.

I'm guessing the Promenada location will be the next to close. I can't imagine business is very good there especially since immigration is no longer there.
Immigration recently opened there. Did they close again? I don’t think so.

Really?
Name one person in the entire gov't that is happy you are in Thailand.
I have a number of good friends that work for the government that I have known for over 20 years.
Names, what an absurd request.

Actually the virus came from Chinese sneaking over the border.
Of course that is where all the cases in the world came from.

From where would a virus spontaneously arise here?
Has it been hiding in your socks' drawer all this time?
Vietnam reports local cases after 99 days of no new cases so it was “hiding” somewhere you seem incapable of imagining or did you figure it out. Please do let us know.
If it can happen in Vietnam why not here?

It's like someone pumping at the well days and days after the water has run dry.
You think dry wells always stay dry forever? Don’t you know that dry wells often refill or partially refill with water?

And this topic from a 13+ year member. Two guys can’t figure out where to eat lunch!
Glad to be out of town today.

Okay, thanks. Do you know if those businesses had leases directly with the Air Force or sub-leases from the golf course lease?

Where have you gone and inquired? Big hospitals can probably do it but that may not be found on their websites.

I've never heard of an eviction so heavy-handed or draconian.
Lot's of questions... not many answers.
Do you know what took place between the tenants and landlord? Discussions? Documents? I don’t think you do other than possibly the bits reported which clearly cannot be all of it. Without knowing how can you judge. Clearly there were some negotiations. Perhaps eviction notices obtained and delivered, do you know they weren’t?

Do something useful and list the "numerous ways agents can pay for expedited services...corrupt."
To whom and for what purpose would that be useful?

If you need to validate your conspiracy theory, I'm sure you will find a way. Such is the nature of conspiracy theories.
I have no conspiracy theory in spite of your efforts to create one.
And a bit of payment for expedited service certainly does not necessitate some conspiracy theory. Again you go off on drama. It is your drama, I opt out.

unless every member of the Immigration Police is corrupt, this just flies in the face of reality.
No it is not necessary for every member of the Thai Immigration Police to be corrupt. You have failed to consider numerous alternatives and instead have jumped to an unreasonable conclusion. Really, give it some thought.
There are numerous ways agents can pay for expedited services without a requirement that all IPOs are corrupt.
The extremism and drama in your posts has destroyed credibility.

No one is saying that zero government employees are corrupt.
I'm saying that it's not so rampantly prevalent that they will have their own desk set up for it in plain view of the rest of the force as is the case in the Chiang Mai Immigration office!
That would be blatantly absurd.
"Attention! Attention! All those willing to pay me a bribe under the table please form a line at Window 3. Don't worry... No one will notice."
How about all the IOs are aware and those who so choose participate in a division of pooled collections. Like restaurant tip sharing.
There are many ways and No need for suggesting some of the more stupid ones.
