  1. I am wondering what is the average price per Square meter or square Wah in issan nongbualamphu / udon area

sister in law made a 400sqm house and paid 4mil just for the house excluding the wall around and the soil....

i am thinking of doing 200-250sqqm single floor, and would liek to hear the pricing

  2. Do you really believe that people will come only in thailand because they can have a free visa ?

what is the financial impact of such a measure for the holiday budget :D

What next ? They will give candy at the immigration :)

Actually yes they will, since one visa is for a 1000 Baht for many this means an extra night of accomodation, hence a family of four will get for extra nights or extra shopping money

  3. That GCC are going all over the place, they have thousands and thousands of hectors in the world, to make sure that they keep getting food, the way they look at it, is they can not plant and finding water is expensive, so buy where there is everything, they are now also in India, as well as africa.

but they way they are doing it is wrog wher ethey treat it as an extension to their country.

on teh other hand some very big Thai rice companies are buying land in nigeria, teaching the locals how to plant, and using this to export to africa, as to reducing shipping costs.

  4. so many experiences

one says Chiang mai best the other says Chiang mai did not work,

we have a saying in my country that says Land quality differs by a hand width.

so i gues sthe best thing to do is try again at a different spot

  5. in the last three months i took my wife and 1.5 year old daughter to the following hotels and she enjoyed it alot

Swiss hotel le concord stayed in a suit and daughter did have a blast running between the rooms

Amari Water Gate (very bad for transportation in my opinion) very busy road, Sky Train is not close enough for being with a tired or hungry kid, taxi and tuk tuk hard to find. but over all in the hotel daughter had a blast

    Woraburi

next week taking them to Dream BKK not sure how that will be yet.

  6. as posted in another topic

number of tourist in thailand for april 09 has increased by 25% compared to april 08, that is teh first month this year that tourism is up compared on month to month.

and in april last year there was nothing, compared to april this year the songkran riots

for you who will ask where i got this information from, i would have posted the link but they just removed April,

    http://www.tourism.go.th/2009/en/statistic...rism.php?cid=26

it was listed 4 hours ago

Arrivals at SUVARNABHUMI INTERNTIONAL AIRPORT 2009

    Jan - down -19.69 %

    Feb - down -25.69 %

    Mar - down -16.94 %

    Apr - down -15.74 %

    May - down -26.18 %

I followed Zeids link and went on the website and downloaded the Excel spreadsheets

And it looks like they are DOWN every month this year 2009 compared to last year. :)

    pook look

there are two tables on the top one for all arrivals and the lower one for at suvarnabhumi airport, there for when you want to see the total number you look at the top one

and that is why i think they removed the april one from teh top one i think some one did an oops

  7. cant agree more.

and regarding the toilet seat i am not sure should we leave it up or down, in my opinion it should stay up, to have proof that it was up when we used it.

for movies, yes i agree, and also must please do not ask us especially if you have chosen the movie, and no one got shot, or nothing blew up in the first 5 minutes.

  9. Well I might be one of the weird ones that actually loves spinach. My daughter also enjoys it allot at 1.5 years

so after letting the Mrs search for spinach and says it does not exist in issan, (Nong Bua Lamphu) and she has been there now for two months, i went there, and she was surprised to find Spinach seeds in JJ market.

took them back home tried doing the first bag, and it is nto working, i do trust her, that she did plant them, and did the soaking, and everything.

my question is, is it hard to grow spinach? and does it grow to be the same as the ones we know?

again this sounds stupid but corriander and mint leaves where i am are leaves in thailand some can be blankets.
