  1. I have nothing against worshiping as you see fit, BUT, do it in privacy of your own home. The VERY loud noise several times a day is obnoxious and rude to us hungover heathens.

I agree with this remark Gary as i find it obnoxious as well in some cases when it does not take into consideration the privacy of others or forcing your beliefs on other.

i have to admit as a Muslim myself i was in an argument with the shaikh of the mosque next to and that ended up in a police station.

but would never refer to anything as stupid :o

  2. I am not sure if this helps but now they have fibers that you can mix with the concrete to make it stronger it is mixed in ratios of weight and depending on what you are using it for your ratio will differ, the ones we used for the pool was 3m and it worked miracles.

  3. Gary your comments and remarks are way off, saying the the Muslim ATHAN is idiotic, did you never hear the bells on Sunday????

Living in the middle east for most of my life, i have enjoyed listening to the ATHAN in the morning, I have enjoyed the bells in Germany as well as in the middle east, and i do enjoy the awful singing in the village early Morning.

I think waking up early morning to do the broadcast, the ATHAN, the bells, shows a high sign of dedication and pride in ones work, and that should be respected in all cultures.

    It also feel energizing

  4. In my village if they come across a snake they cook it and eat it ,,

the most common snakes iv seen have been banded yellow black red .and about 2 feet long

    don't forget the old saying

red next to black friend of jack ,

red next to yellow kill a fellow

Yellow Black Red, if it goes back to yellow black red, so we will have yellow and red next to each other again.we will have the red next to both yellow and back so.... what will that mean?

    :o

  5. believe it or not,

leaving this January driving from south nongbua to udonthani, an 85km ride, including the wife the 1 month old baby and me there where 17 people in a Mazda pickup truck,

so 15 came along for the ride, to say goodbye, i was happy to have so many, but the driver did not help as SHE was zooming between cars just to make it to the airport, as the first guy forgot he had to pick us up and ended up leaving the night before to Bangkok.

after this 85km ride in the back, the ride in the airplane was very comfortable.

  6. not sure about your ayla information, but they do FAA as well, again i am not sure if previous to now they converted from JAR. as he Jordanian authority follows FAA standards, but recently i heard they are going for Jars not sure yet, but the airline did.

  7. well silk farm or moth farms, is anyone doing that? in issan area as well?

now for me from a tourist point of view visiting those silk thingies around Thailand, it does not seem to be confusing i agree like everything else, it needs hard work and follow up, but has it been done.

the way i look at it, you can get the silk out of it, or sell the cocoons if you do not want to bother, you will also have the worms which people seem to enjoy, and not sure if you can even use the left overs to actually make fertilizers.
