who want to work for 350 THB a day at least 26 days a month and working hours of 12hrs or more a day???
Very true. We know a few small guest houses owners who cant find staff. True they can only pay minimal wages and no extras. Tough for us small scale businesses. Thats life.

My understanding this is a safety issue. In the dark the rear reflectors of parked vehicle will glow up in the head lights of the oncoming vehicle. That assume oncome vehicle has lights on or not ghost riding ????

No mistake. Retirement extensions didn't previously require photocopies of the 'Receipt(s) Of Notification of Change of Address'. They do now as I found out in October this year.
Well. I made , my retirement extension in November. Never had to supply Notification of Address.

I've read a few reports about crashes o this hill. Can someone please tell me what is so dangerous about it ?
quite a few bends each side. Road can be quite slippery in damp weather. And folks drive too fast.

I live on a soi off Patak road in Kata. I can tell you it is a nightmare to exit out our soi. Out for lunch today to Chalong. OMG. Long traffic tails all roads in out of Chalong Circle. We will be stuck with this for many many months/years. Ang high season is round the corner.

About 14.00 try drive from chalong circle along Chaofa East. Bad flood before first traffic lights. Police directing traffic cross link to Chaofa West. Expect west to be worse flooded. Turn round to circle and have nice lunch at Tamarin by the sea.

Are there any local residents of Phuket who are in the area right now and can tell a bit about the flood situation so far today. I ask because I have a wife who has been planning to meet some friends tomorrow for a long time planned, two days midweek hotel break and I am trying to persuade them to postpone this, but as you know ladies who have made up their minds can be difficult to make change their plans????
Felt
All seems back normal now

I foresee this as a huge health issue. And it will not take long before it manifests its presence. The Gov will be in full panic mode. I hope not ..... but ....
