thanks everyone, i grow outdoors in large pots. I use a mixture of peat moss, worm castings, bat guano, perlite, coco coir, compost, egg shells and kelp. The amount of bat guano I use is probably 10% of total. I have overdone it before and burnt plants but you learn from experience. This is not the mixture I use for seedlings, they would be in peat/perlite mix.

Hi, does anyone have a source for bat guano? I know Lazada has many people selling small bags, I am looking for 10-20 kilo bags. Thanks all.

Maybe I got the employee and owner mixed up as to who had passed.
It was the tall quiet guy with glasses I wanted to know what happened to. Was that Tawan's husband or Mark?
Mark weighed about 250+ pounds. The owners name was Rob.

Mark who used to own Pirates Bay worked there for awhile, he passed away a few years ago. At the time it was owned by a Brit and his wife. He had a son and I believe they moved back to England to raise the boy.

I have tried the search function which has proved once again to be next to useless. I know it has been discussed here before. Does anyone know a place to recommend to get bed sheets made. Thanks

I have 12 trees that were cut down a couple of months ago. I hear so many conflicting opinions about this wood, not sure what to believe. Is it any good to use for shelving or too much of a termite invitation? Will painting or sealing it make it more useable? thanks

Thanks for the responses now I don’t have to calm my nerves with alcohol

Checking my paperwork I realize a 90 day report was due on Aug 5th. I am not in Chiang Mai at the moment and would like to know if anyone knows what the current policy is as far as being late with report. Thanks

Isn't it amazing how efficient they can be when it is to their advantage. It will be interesting to see if this convenience remains after the crisis is over.

Kad Manee market over by the airport. lots of food vendors, a little lake, music playing, bamboo tables and mats to sit on. pretty much everything you are looking for

As someone from the States visiting Vietnam for a few months most people were very friendly after asking where I came from. It seems everyone in the southern part of the country has relatives living in the states. I must of heard a million times...I have a cousin lives in San Jose or Los Angeles.

I just returned from a month on Koh Phangan, on Sunday I went to immigration to see about filing out a TM30. I was told by the officer no need to fill out anything if just traveling in Thailand.

Did you end up buying this machine? I am also looking to buy a rower but don't want something that will fall apart after a uses.

sounds like the blue background may only be in Chiang Mai

Starting about 2 years ago or maybe 3 Chiang Mai immigration said all retirement visa photos must have a blue background . Being a skeptic I assumed this was because many people had extra passport photos in their wallet with white backgrounds and they weren't selling enough photos. I am curious
if this blue background is necessary in other districts. Thanks

thanks everyone, stopped at Big C and got 3 big ones for 45 baht, would prefer to get from local market but don't always feel like going the extra distance

I was recently forced to buy a lemon at Rimping to finish making some hummus. The price was more than all other ingredients combined, I am going to make hummus again and I would like to avoid the migraine of paying 50 baht for a single lemon, i know they are available sometimes here and there for a much more reasonable price, and I would like to know if anyone has seen them lately at some of the other markets. Thanks

I am sure the only reason any of this is being considered is not for the benefit of the Thai people, although they will benefit almost by accident. I am sure the real reason is some very powerful people realize exporting Thai sticks and Thai weed will be more profitable than rubber, shrimp or rice. Their concern for their citizens just happens to coincide with the legalization in Canada and the States.

The American consulate still issues the income letter and it is needed to get visa. What has changed is that proof of income is required by Chiang Mai immigration. I just did my extension last week and this was my experience.
