thanks everyone, i grow outdoors in large pots. I use a mixture of peat moss, worm castings, bat guano, perlite, coco coir, compost, egg shells and kelp. The amount of bat guano I use is probably 10% of total. I have overdone it before and burnt plants but you learn from experience. This is not the mixture I use for seedlings, they would be in peat/perlite mix.

Hi, does anyone have a source for bat guano? I know Lazada has many people selling small bags, I am looking for 10-20 kilo bags. Thanks all.

Maybe I got the employee and owner mixed up as to who had passed.
It was the tall quiet guy with glasses I wanted to know what happened to. Was that Tawan's husband or Mark?
Mark weighed about 250+ pounds. The owners name was Rob.

Mark who used to own Pirates Bay worked there for awhile, he passed away a few years ago. At the time it was owned by a Brit and his wife. He had a son and I believe they moved back to England to raise the boy.

I have tried the search function which has proved once again to be next to useless. I know it has been discussed here before. Does anyone know a place to recommend to get bed sheets made. Thanks

I have 12 trees that were cut down a couple of months ago. I hear so many conflicting opinions about this wood, not sure what to believe. Is it any good to use for shelving or too much of a termite invitation? Will painting or sealing it make it more useable? thanks

Checking my paperwork I realize a 90 day report was due on Aug 5th. I am not in Chiang Mai at the moment and would like to know if anyone knows what the current policy is as far as being late with report. Thanks

Isn't it amazing how efficient they can be when it is to their advantage. It will be interesting to see if this convenience remains after the crisis is over.

sounds like the blue background may only be in Chiang Mai

Starting about 2 years ago or maybe 3 Chiang Mai immigration said all retirement visa photos must have a blue background . Being a skeptic I assumed this was because many people had extra passport photos in their wallet with white backgrounds and they weren't selling enough photos. I am curious
if this blue background is necessary in other districts. Thanks

The American consulate still issues the income letter and it is needed to get visa. What has changed is that proof of income is required by Chiang Mai immigration. I just did my extension last week and this was my experience.

last week i renewed my retirement visa. When I went to the US consulate I had my income statement filled out already from a copy I picked up on my last visit. I was told to fill out new form that has additional sentence added that Thai immigration requested. The sentence says: the U.S. Consulate does not guarantee the contents of the sworn statement. When I submitted my paperwork to immigration the officer highlighted in yellow this sentence and told me I needed additional paperwork. I went home and copied a pension statement and returned to immigration. She glanced at it and said fine. So I said no point in paying the Consulate the $50.00, if this paper is enough. "No" she said you need both. This was last week on Tuesday....things might be different already
This was in Chiang Mai

You couldn't have both a "retirement visa" and an extension of stay. If the non-imm O-A had expired but you still had time left on your last permission or else it had expired and you got an extension of stay, then you would need a re-entry permit and you should have put the re-entry permit number on the arrival card where it asked for visa number and directed the IO's attention to the re-entry permit.
Getting an entry error corrected is fairly common. Illegally entering the country is less common.
sorry for the confusion, what i meant to say was that I had a reentry stamp which preserves the retirement visa

I had a situation last week that might help in some way. I was crossing from Laos to Thailand with a year long retirement visa with an extension. Immigration stamped me into Thailand with a 30 day visa. This effectively cancelled my retirement visa. I didnt notice until a week later in Chiang Mai and going to immigration for another issue. To resolve this issue I had to go to immigration at the airport and it took about 1/2 hour for them to contact Nong Kai and cancel my 30 day visa. Perhaps going to the airport immigration
might be worth it for you.

Yeah he is the guy on the right, I haven't seen him around in a while so I am guessing he is gone. The other fellow I believe went to Cambodia and opened a guest house.

One thing worth mentioning is if you will be riding in the evening it can be cold. Bring a jacket or heavy sweatshirt.
