I used an 8 month old letter from my embassy (NZ).
It was a photocopy as I thought I might need the original for something else.
This was car purchase. Car sale the same....? Not here if past experience is anything to go by.
-
Whats the problem with a bit of research?
Try before you buy.

Right I own a pickup so I get off this one too.
I call it a car but on the 22nd its a truck for sure!
BTW... how the fart does anyone male wear a pin?
I know I'll just pop it on top of my mustache, they can't miss it there can they?
Opps... I forgot... Thailand.

Will my Lao Kao bill at Somchai's Bar & Grill go up?

BTW...
What is Thailand NOT a world leader in?

Sit down with the poor bugga.
Have a whisky or two, chat, get personal.
Then get him to sign. Most do when emotional.
Run to the airport and piss off.

He is bound to become a politician and be PM in a few years.
Either that or run the Ministry of Finance as they do lots of magic tricks.

I don't think I believe them.
I could be wrong but hasn't the Thai government got a vested interest in the results.
I think they have a few hundred tonnes of rice and a few durans hidden back behind Somchai's house.

Good luck to him, he will need more than luck of course.
Flag saluting does not build a nation, it helps build a nation of yes men/women, which Thailand needs more of.
Just kidding.

CTH service is crap.
I have the mega 100 baht plan, via condo, box from CTH though.
72 channels PLUS....
But they change every week. I dont get fox news/AFC/etc etc now and no reason.
Fox was replaced by CCTV News in English, but its all super Chinese clean and boring crap. Now I know why communism will fail in China too.
Its CRAP!

I have used Lazada for 3 purchases and one refund, and all 3 were handled pretty well.
They even refunded me the wrapping charge from the receipt for fr8, a little mistake in my favour!
I would recommend them for people who are home all the time though, as they give virtually no warning of delivery, say 15 minutes at most.

Using an Uzbek national as translator.
Shows you how pitiful the Thai cops are at communicating with foreigners.
Next time they should pick on some old chinese business woman banking 5m baht from her noodle shop on a sunday.

OK after having my car (2.2 4 door auto) for a year my experiences are:
1) the <deleted> hood is too big
2) its a great car/truck/whatever
3) slow on the tack-off but no worse than a 2L BMW from 1991
4) mazda accessories ARE <deleted>!
4.1 scuff protectors, are not scuff proof, in fact they fail on first use
4.2 Bonnet protector <deleted>, broken after C.M. run @ 120kmph UESLESS 1900 baht waste that one
4.3 Window visors (or whatever they are called) <deleted>, never glued on properly
4.4 rubber floor mats = <deleted> (free though)
4.5 Chrome Fog lamp thingies, had to be fitted 3 times.
Anything I buy now will be from ANYBODY BUT MAZDA.
I would buy it again, but I would not buy ANY Mazda addons, they are <deleted> (just in case you missed it)

Hi,
Anyone know of a decent panel shop out in Bangna (or thereabouts).
Just scratches on 3 panels, including plastic bumper.
Mazda BT-50. Not using insurance for these.
In fact Mazda sent me to the bodiwurx shop on Suk 66/1 (not really) and the quote was 19800 and thus about 5k too much.

Who cares?
Its a Thai problem, let them handle it.
-
Cheap way out.
-
just a bit of using inferior building materials and no solid foundations to hold everything up
a middle severe earthquake in / around bangkok = most buildings will collapse
A middle severe earthquake? Whats that? 3.5 or 7.5 on the richter scale?
I think ANY major city without a history of severe earthquakes will have problems, not just Bangkok.
"Most buildings will collapse" Nope, fire would be a much more likely problem.

I feel sorry for the guy.
I also have no REAL insurance just the accident type.
I wonder if it covers "A guy shot me outside a bar after a fight I got involved in".
-
I did this and they mailed it back to me no problem.
But they inserted a note about it, in english.

Just goes to show that even the pious in this country can be tempted by the devil.
I wonder how many cars the Pope has?
-
Well my old man fought the bastard in WWII and that's good enough for me to say:
"It's Thailand, nothing in this country has meaning unless its a name brand, and soon Hitler will be a name brand"

Is it just me or is http://www.krungsri.com/en/ a load of crap when you try to do anything these days.
Over the last month it has become very erratic, one day logon is ok, next ten minutes.
Try to do a bank transfer works/not works its like a lottery.
I am getting sick of it and cannot stand it anymore.
I am in BKK using buddy broadband and www.kasikorn.co.th doesn't present any problems at all.
Is it just me?
Comments please on your experience with Krungsri over the last month or so thanks.

Bangkok on mission to clear footpaths

How will this horrendous plan affect Bangkok's claim to "Best Footpath Food City" claim?
kow-mung-gai doesn't taste the same inside a shop!
