So #2 in NZ!
http://www.stuff.co.nz/motoring/7653891/Utes-top-NZ-new-vehicle-sales
Notice how small the kiwi market is?
They all buy second hand cr@p from Japan/Singapore.
No mention of Mazda!
6 weeks and still waiting for my refund from Ford, next visit I park the Mazda smack bang in the middle of the entrance and wait for the cash.

Try http://en.9apartment.com/ they have a long list of cheapish apartments some of which take 1 month rentals.
-
-
Its the 1st time in 6 plus months they have had aussies oranges in here on Rama 2 road.
Some weeks not one orange at all... but I know now not to buy the Chinese crap... they may be 59 baht a kg but they are worth 9 baht!
Lotus seem to be ill managed round here. Tops over priced and Big C I don't go to much.
-
(September 10th 2012 people!)
Yep, just got back from Lotus and ate an aussie orange on the way home.
79baht a kilo and they are delicious!
Juicy sweet and full of flavour.
If like me you have had bad/poor oranges lately (from a country with a name starting with C), then rush on down and grab some before they are all sold out!
And to think I paid 199baht for American ones 2 months back that were not half as good!

NRL is not a TEST match even!
Its just a bunch of Aussies and a few Kiwis/Pacific Islanders in a tournament that goes on for ages.
It won't happen! Who wants to watch it?
Much more fun to hold the world tiddlewinks competition at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul!
At least 10 people would come to that!
-
Someone has to grow the rice that I don't eat!
Its the potato farmers I worry about.
Grow potatoes and become rich!
Then you can pay 1m for a rai or two.
-
Ok I'll bite!
BUT... this is my 5 pet hates about people/things in Thailand:
1) I am not a tourist.
2) I don't live in a hotel.
3) New Zealand is not in Europe next to Switzerland (for gawds sake!).
4) I don't pay more than the locals (no matter what).
5) I am not going back to New Zealand (as if its any of your business you nosey parker!)
There could be more, but I am too busy picking my nose in front of the computer.
-
It only bothers me when other foreigners call me one.
I don't expect the local people to be able to say "New Zealander" or "European".
Thai is such a simple easy word to say in comparison.
Maybe they should call me whitey eh?
-
Spend Spend Spend, tomorrow will look after itself.
Maybe he is secretly Thai?
Off to Emporium.... bye!
-
Does this story matter?
Is anyone surprised?
I think its yet more smoke and mirrors to detract people from the current regime.
It works too.

Time of day!
7pm must be near peak time, and most of the staff are off eating din dins, so of course its slow around 7 pm.

... It is a society of 13 year old boys, in men's bodies, who behave like 13 year old boys, and have the emotional development of 13 year old boys. I am sure there are some exceptions. Maybe 11% of the society? LOL.
While you are largely correct on this, I think perhaps the age is too high and the sex is wrong.

It would be interesting to add to this survey to see if the ethnic Chinese accept it more than the ethnic Thais.
Of course such a question would NEVER be allowed as it would promote disruption to society.
Most western countries do keep stats based on race for things like crime etc, even political views as in the USA.
-
Just proves my point that most Thais do not know how to handle anger.
The police should be trained to control their anger as pulling a gun in a dispute is more like a politicians sons action than a police one.
At least it was not a Ferrari, imagine what she would pull in that case.
-
Although this is a high profile case, it could just be that it was an accident. How many times have I not seen the police motosai just pull into traffic right in front of cars.
Most people here panic when they have been in accident and just flee, even when not at fault.
Just sayin'...
first reaction - flee. Acceptable?
second reaction - offer to buy your way out. Acceptable?
third reaction -flee to Laos Acceptable?
fourth reaction -order a new Ferrari Acceptable?
fifth reaction -open a driving school Acceptable?

Look at this.. Here!

No issues for me in Bangkok, but am seeing some posts in Thai forums re: a significant outage, but maybe not as bad as the ones late last year?
This could put them on the back foot with the NBTC and the upcoming 3G auction?
Outages from late last year: http://www.telecomas...-network-outage
From their home page:
What a 3g auction?
I thought 4g was coming?
Jesus this place is a joke.
-
No problems! Rama 2 Rd Bangkok.
-
Thai students young and old are all about emotions.
Trying to raise the score seems to be a solution for a problem that only exists in the emotions of the writer.

For kicks I am going to give it a go anyway next time I am refused a perfectly reasonable average journey having waiting in the heat or soaking rain for 30 minutes. Especially those ones who don't even bother to say anything and then get really angry when you dont close the door properly.
I always leave the door open when they refuse me.
If they ask for bahtXXX I just say Fark Off and slam the door.
Police enforcing the law would be a nice idea.
-
If you buy Acer it is Acer policy.
But a more expensive brand if you want better service. Like Dell.
My experience with Dell laptop service was horrible, horrible and horrible.
Maybe they are better this decade?
-
^ Thats a good point.
What extras did everyone get with their car?
I'll admit I didn't push them at all.
I got tint, 3 years roadside assist, rego and first years insurance.
I got the same, plus useless floor mats and number plate holder and 10% off accessories ordered at the same time.
Bangkok Warned Of Flood Threat As Heavy Rain Predicted
in Thailand News
Posted
No real info!
Would be nice to NAME the districts most at risk.
Where I am it flooded late in the 2011 BIG FLOOD.
So are we at risk now or not?
I think not!
We always get small (1 foot or less) floods round here after 3 hours of rain, none since January!!!
