    I'm guessing they are these:

I do hate companies that have a website with an "EN" button that just gives you the same Thai page. And as the prices and descriptions are images rather than text you cant even copy-paste them into Google translate.

That is it - the lower pic is easy to read

    4mbps   3months 950baht   6month 1400  12 months 2500

    1mbps    3             550         6          600    12            1200

I do also hate the sites all done in images, but it is easy way to code a page.

  2. I am not sure about your phone, but with our Samsung J7 we got 10GB each 30 days with an option to refill that during the month and unlimited US calls and text - just jump into most any T-Mobil shop at a mall.  Current cost??  Might have to refill each month or might be able to purchase two months up front.  Just took about 15 min. in the shop and we were off and running.  functioned well - we traveled the whole West coast North to South and back again.  That was only a few years ago, at any rate there was no need to pre order  or anything like that - girl at the counter was vary helpfully and even waited to make a test call to be sure it was active and had a connection.

  3. Don't use the browser mode of gmail - set up an email program like Thunderbird which is put out by the same people as Firefox.  Use imap mode and when you open it it does the log in checks mail in all setup accounts - you can have numbers of accounts in the same program and they don't all have to even be gmail accounts  I use gmail program on the phone in the same mode with same multi accounts available at the same time.  Once set up it is simple to add or remove accounts and you can have all email accounts on all devices working seamlessly.

  4. I have a hp 125 lazer - all in one and the best printer I have ever owned.  4 boxes of paper (2000 sheets) and still printing on the same cart it came with - I keep thinking it will never run out, but they did say 2500 so it must be true.  Way better and cheaper then any ink jet.  The cart will last longer then an ink jet printer does with less hassle and cost less if you properly refill it - they have kits for DIY refills that make it cheaper then ink.

My wife called their call centre again yesterday.

She was told that when I took the boxes back the woman logged my refund details in the system, but not the fact that I'd returned the boxes, so the refund wasn't activated.

The guy she spoke to has now started the process and we should get the refund in March, I'm at a loss to understand why a refund takes so long when I can pay them instantly.

I wonder how much those boxes actually cost, I suspect a lot less than I've paid in rental over the years.

We canceled on the 6th - had to use a video phone at the true shop rather then just the people there.  They scheduled a visit to pick up the equipment.  By the 14th we had not heard from anyone so we go back in and tell them nothing has happened and we don't want to be paying - we need the final bill we are leaving.   So she says she will call us after she gets hold of them - she calls about 30 minutes after we leave the shop and they are coming in the morning the 15th - they don't call or show.  We now have her number so we call her and tell her and she said he will be there in the morning the 16th for sure.   OK we will see - but they do.

I have the org. packaging and the box and everything ready to go.  They take the dish down which is ok but they just cut the cable - oh well I am leaving not my problem - they have no paper work so I am concerned about how this will turn out.  I wait a few days and go in to make sure they are starting the final bill and they have the equipment recorded expecting the worst - but hay - not only did they have that reported the final bill was payable and the deposit was credited to the amount from the last month which had not been paid yet.  So well I can see it should have been less hassle then this - once they got the equipment going it went well.  All done.

I don't see why it would take that long unless you owe nothing and they have to cut a check - if just a credit to account maybe would be faster like ours was.  I know when we first canceled they said if the bill shows up don't pay it just wait.  Half the time the bill never comes in time anyway and I go in before the due date and pay it anyway - not their fault - the PO seems to only bring mail down this street one day of the month.  Everything always comes on the same day mid month.

where have you been for the last year or so tm30's are required at many local immigration offices, with fines of 800/1600 baht for non submissions, of you haven't left the country for a while, then maybe your local office doesn't enforce the tm30

Well we made a trip just before before Sept. and returned then did a renewal of the visa Oct - no one said a word.  Must be less then a year that it has changed to this.

Can someone here please explain the THB800 per day fine?? For the thai-wife, people here seem to be evading the essential question.

"Immigration told me THAI-WIFE MUST PAY THB800/DAY when Late"

    Anybody know about this??

The immigration lady made it sound like the THB800 per DAY fine on the 'mia-farang' was something 'new'.

I Thought the place your staying was covered by the entry document, but she acts like your wife must report your having arrived and living at your address i.e. TM30 I think it is. Not the same as a 90 day report at all.  Seems strange to me.  Never reported our address beyond the entry document and during visa renewal - it would seem if it never changed between renewals or after you entered it would not require reporting again and again.

Don't forget to apply for a re-entry permit!

A few years ago I was outside the 30 days and concerned - I asked for re-entry at the same time with info about travel plans on the application for re-entry and had email tickets with me - they didn't ask for them.  They just did both visa and re-entry at the same time and said have a nice trip.

I'm not an expert would with a difference of 60 m you would several pumps at different levels (plus eventually reservoir tanks) unless you have a very huge diameter pipe, not to mention the sufficient pressure and necessary pump size.

Pumps mfg and also online have charts that can tell you what you need.  5000l a day is not hard and 60m is not much.  The only part that counts is the head of level between the top of the water and the top of the tank - that is where the work is done.  Water above the pump does not count - so mean low water level to top of tank is the head and look for 220v/1ph and get the required Hp pump. It will also give a flow rate to match up to duty cycle (time off and on) I would say in your case the weeds are going to be a bigger problem then you might know.  Sink a well next to the pond and set it up turn it on with a float switch and forget about it for years at a time.

In comparason to my Non O, followed by 10 extensions of stay based on retirement, this does not seem particularly attractive.

I fail to see which group it is aimed at?

The Bankers it would seem and some insurance companies would love this, but who needs it - why if I already have a fully functioning health care insurance from the US that works here in Thailand (and I use it) the same as I do in the US for the rest of my life as part of my pension plan would I pay for more insurance just because I wanted to stay in Thailand, and the yearly income thing - MG you can look mine up on the internet including the next rise in each January - why should I have to pay 50 bucks for a rubber stamp after traveling 1000km round trip just to prove what is already well known to the whole damn world already.  Look at my ID card and you know what everyone else on the planet with an internet connection already knows if they care to look.  I would say just having the insurance I have and the income I have already they should rubber stamp me ever year or more anyway - I don't mind the 90day reports keeping my address up to date or the annual fee for a yearly visa - I can live with it as is.
