Georgealbert, thanks for the news .. it is very sad that many lives have been taken in this landslide.
It makes me sad when I see human error causes these disasters.
I hope the relatives take their surviving family members in and give them food.
The carpark at the Big Buddha may have contributed to this starting as it appears a sinkhole developed and then the soil on the hill side gave away.
The water may have been running underneath the tree / forest growth and continually washing the soil downhill.
This is likely why the hillside growth failed.
Sue the carpark developers and contractors.
and where are the Amazon products manufactured such as the mattress cover ...
wouldn't be China by any chance would it ??
I'll stick with Shopee .... it's much easier and cheaper.
They sound like good tenants. Many landlords would love tenants like yours.
You sound like a problem landlord. Many tenants usually try to avoid landlords like you.
You should be pleased with them and let them stay as long as they like.
Just keep reminding them of the safety requirements with gas.
Maybe have the local fire chief pop in sometime and advise if anything needs updating or doing.
You are lucky to have such good tenants, appreciate them.
I would expect the witnesses to be use to this behavior, We've seen this happen to foreigners on walking street on the news many times, remember those thug bouncers.
Don't be horrified, just look in the mirror.
Then in 5 years there'll be another SAR's or Covid or Monkey Pox global outbreak and everywhere will shut down for a year or two and they'll have to sell the new aircraft.
Wash .... rinse ...... repeat !
