In December of 1941 WWII .... Thailand surrendered to the Japanese since they couldn't possibly defend their country against the might of the Japanese Empire. Thailand will surrender to whoever decides to invade their country as their military is ill-equipped to defend against the likes of China, Russia or any other nation.

Never buy a stand alone house anywhere in Thailand. Only buy in a gated community and make sure it's a decent gated community and not a load of Thais all related living there or you'll have the same issue. The downside to living here, you can't have a nice couple of private acres with fruit trees and a garden etc ... or if you do you can never go away on a trip.

exactly .... I would say probably at least 3-4 stabbings, many fights, and 2-3 shootings everyday somewhere in Thailand. but you won't ever hear about those from the Thais or media. Thais can do no wrong remember .... only big misunderstandings

not so fast .... Many folks here drink for a prolonged amount of time, I'm certain they don't go out and commit violent offenses afterwards that's for sure. So maybe your research is just meant for Thais.

it's not the alcohol that's the problem, it's the crazy Thais who just can't handle a few beers. You don't have savage murders like this in Auss or UK or other places when they're having a beer.
