I would strongly avoid taking that Yellow bus from Pattaya unless you want to go on a endless 12-15 hour bus ride detour of Issan making lots of stops along the way
that was called the mail run.

You've stopped taking your Meds again haven't you ?
lol ... Thailand is what it is. It is governed by the Junta and Khun Prayut is in charge.
You can't change that and I can't change that so what's the point in whinging about it over and over as some TV keyboard warriors seem to do. If one doesn't like the place they are in then there is only one answer ..... leave.

Meanwhile, the pro-junta Phalang Pracharat, which won the popular vote with 7.9 million, yesterday expressed confidence about forming a coalition, saying it had already had begun discussions on putting together a coalition with likeminded parties. It also insisted on reinstalling Prayut as premier to lead the post-election government.
Well done.

Typical silly media questions, of coarse Khun Prayut won't be drawn into a debate on that.

Obviously the majority of Thailand think different to that of yourself.
Suffice to say I believe you couldn't hold a candle to him.

The airlines will pressure the Thai government? Do I have that right? More like they will simply insist on a tourist visa or you don't board.
And that's what I think will eventuate, especially if you have already had a recent VOA. Just imo

The OP states that he had a flight ticket out within 30 days..
sorry simon, my bad. Yes .... it looks like he's been denied entry because he has traveled extensively on legitimate tourist visas. So it appears the Thai immigration are attempting to enforce their own rule that ' it is illegal to have numerous legitimate tourist visas in your passport ' .... or to that effect.

Hi IT techies,
My XP computer is just about dead, it keeps freezing etc ... 10 min after starting. I've cleaned everything, deleted all useless files, ran antivirus, malware, kill.exe and several other cleaners. All worked ok ... until after opening pages a couple of times it starts freezing up.
Anyway ..... I have my notebook Compaq 325, Windows 7 ultimate .... because it looks small compared to my XP screen, can I buy the computer plug and plug my notebook into the back of my PC monitor ????
thanks

This type of attitude by Thai immigration officials will undoubtably set a precident within the Airlines industry.
I anticipate the airlines will become more strict in letting any passenger board.
They will not want these type of situations to continue or develop further as it cost them time and money, hence imo all passengers will be requested to show flight out, especially anyone without a visa.
