    Just a theory

He sat on the platform between  carriages with his legs dangling over the side. He took his shirt off because he was sweating. His legs hit the partial construction at the side of the track (which was not a problem if he had kept his legs in). He was dragged off the carriage platform by the force of the impact. He managed to crawl under the track platform where he died. I suspect his shirt will be found either on the carriage platform or somewhere along the track where it was blown off by the wind or dragged off with him. RIP

yes,   not sure as it doesn't say how it happened....   I thought he was leaning out the door as the train approached the station and his leg struck something sticking out from construction material.   We don't know ...  or was he on the platform having a smoke  ?

This may well be the case but if this bloke wasn't sitting where he was, and was not supposed to be, this thread would not exist and the man would not have died. I think a legal case would be hard pressed to get any compensation.

yes,   I'm not saying your wrong,  as correct, passengers are not permitted or allowed sitting smoking or loitering in-between carriages.   I'd like to see the intrusion he hit.  He must have been hanging outside the door.

    It was a joke.

    Someone said "throw a bike".

    You said ".22".

I said "do they make them that small?"

I'll admit it wasn't a particularly good joke. Like many it relied on the immediacy of the exchange, and doesn't work if it is explained word for word😀

it was a good joke ....  i'm sorry ,    i did laugh for 1 second

I have a question to all these 'members'  who always reply to any of Bob's posts in the negative.

    What is your problem?

Everyone that is registered on asean now is entitled to their own opinion and can post virtually anything within the bounds of the rules.

But it appears that as soon as Bob posts anything, the troop of 'assassin's appear.  It's quite simple people,  if you don't like/agree with Bob's posts then either don't read them or use the block feature.

I've only been on here a short time and I'm astounded by the amount of attacks on Bob.

I'm sure he is probably a bit eccentric but that doesn't give licence to all these personal attacks.

I could add a lot more but then it may see as a rant.  People please think before posting nasty replies.

agree Korat,   some on here think everything is perfect everyday ... they need to take their rose colored glasses off and get out into the real world of thais.

The problem at temples is that there can be so many pairs of shoes or sandals and the occasional problem of theft ... My b/f once told me his shoes were stolen outside a temple. I asked him what he did. He said he looked around for another pair that fitted him, put them on and walked away ...

I hope he got a pair that were of similar quality & value
