iTunes is and always has been an abomination, but there are plently of alternatives for playing media and managing devices on both Mac and Windows machines.

I'm currently attempting to max out the Gigabit download connection of my seedbox to get as many of the early progs as possible before the deadline.
Grab everything you can and upload it to TVC.

There's something wrong with your connection. This is what I get consistently by FTP from a True ADSL 13/1.5 connection in BKK (I guess they've upgraded it to 15/1.5 and haven't told me).
This is direct to my dedi in France, so it's not a local connection.

I have been with both UKtv and 365Sports for nearly a year now, both my subscriptions wont run out until after the 4000baht special offer dead line, does anyone know if i will get this same offer as and when i renew...........
I was in the same boat last year (albeit with monthy billing). Email their support and they'll probably sort it out.

EDIT2 Looks like TV Chaos is open membership right now
Sign-ups are temporarily suspended while they deal with the onslaught.
-
How do they activate the service - do you have to already be with a specific subscriber?
No you just need a reasonably fast connection. I think they specify something like 3 mb/s minimum. The servers are in Thailand. I only experienced very occasional buffering on a 13/1.5 connection.
Just sign up and you can pay with paypal or at 7-11.

will the commentary be in English.
Yes, it's in English.
I suscribed to 365 last season and was very happy with the service.

I believe it's illegal in Thailand for networks to lock phones to their own service. In any event, none of the Thai networks lock their phones.

If you bought the phone from AIS it will be factory unlocked. You can use any SIM.

they don't give root/Administrator password for vps they create for you
The whole point of a VPS is root. That's why it's called a a virtual private server. Get yourself a decent provider.
-
Internet is pretty reliable here, but you won't get an ADSL or cable connection for a few months. Minimum is usually a year. Get yourself an unlimited 3G plan.
Stay around Thong Lor or Ekkamai. Plently of English speakers around there and decent enough areas.
Ignore the nonsense on here about work permits. Nobody will care if you're working online.

More info here
Ah, I was thinking of the date for Vista. Good info.

What's your source DogNo 1? My understanding is that extended support will not be withdrawn for Win 7 until 11 April 2017. That means security updates until that date.

Thanks OP, this is very useful.

^If you don't know what SHSH blobs are, you obviously don't have them, since you would need to know what they were in order to save them at the time 6.x.x was still being signed by Apple.
Short answer to your question: you can't downgrade your OS.

I can't knock the Thai Apple store. When I bought my MBP at the end of last year the cost was 80,500 THB (about £1,600 at the time). The identical spec model on the UK Apple store (at the same time) was £2,500!

Do you know what SHSH blobs are? Do you have them for 6.x.x? If not, forget about downgrading the OS. It can't be done.

Must have been pretty big if it was in China. Fairly similar to the last one here a few years back.

Anyone feeling this? Going on right now.

I guess they did not have the 29 ready for Mac ...
I'm on 29.0 on a Mac.

^ I have one, but I can't move it where I want it to be as before. No worries. I'll live with it in the address bar until they fix it.

Wow, this sucks far less than I imagined it would.
Get it via View | Toolbars | Customize. The button is among the others in the list.I don't have a reload page button in my list and I can't drag the one in the address bar into the list. Any ideas?
Buying direct from the Thai Apple store online.......

I wouldn't be too concerned about the keyboard. Order the 'international' one and you'll be fine.
Like everyone else in this thread (so far), my experience with the Thai Apple Store was really excellent (November 2013). Shipped from China with absolutely no issues.
I don't know the situation now, but at the time I ordered my MBP last year the price was 80K on the Thai store. The price for exactly the same spec on the UK store was £2,500. Quite a price diffrence. So you may well want to compare the prices before you decide.
