I believe the US allegations against Russia are true. Russia consistently lies about everything anyway- just like when they shot down the Malaysian passenger jet over Ukraine. Assad and Putin should have to face a War Crimes Tribunal eventually but I'm not holding my breath. Recent actions will just trigger more migration.

If Russians want to be responsible for eradicating ISIS they should say so. They have killed so many civilians in Aleppo and other places and they always deny everything

finnair bkk - jfk - bkk might take almost a week out of your life...
I took that trip....not bad except for a layover of 8 HR in Helsinki going to Bkk. In November I will fly Finnair to BKK from Miami in Business Class. Only 20 1/2 HR from time I leave Miami. Great airline. -
The boats on which I traveled in the Bangkok area don't carry nearly enough life jackets for the number of passengers aboard. As an experienced boater I have made this observation many times

What airline would want an ancient 727 which is expensive to operate with 3 engines !

True's policy (at least in Bangkok) has been that you need to have internet service for a minimum of 12 months. Nice to know that is not the case. Their policy on cable tv requires minimum service of 6 months. I wonder if that is legal too.

After all the stories of Nigerians committing crimes in Thailand one would hope that Immigration would be asking more questions at entry and keeping an eye on some of them during their stay.

I think that the ladyboy thieves in Pattaya should still be presented to the public in a news conference (would be an exception to Prayut's new directive) .

Traffic is certainly a problem but equally important is the resulting air pollution from vehicles sitting in traffic jams....especially from the old buses.

They tried to put off delivery of these planes but Airbus said no. I wonder if they managed to sell any of the A-340's yet.

Not surprised, NOK used to use old pick up trucks to unload the plane. It does seem the ground inspection would have revealed excessive wear. Then again not. He'd probably catch it for delaying take off.
Looks like an inadequate ground inspection prior to the flight. I wonder if the pilot saw the problem once airborne or maybe a passenger (who had better view) notified a flight attendant.

Has anyone ever noticed that every perp here that gets caught for a crime confesses almost immediately ?
They must all have a troubled conscience that helps push them to take responsibility.
Not only do they usually confess quickly but they often admit responsibility for previous similar crimes. I often wonder what techniques are used by the police to get these confessions. -
Reading this article and another one expressing concern about low ridership on the new line makes me wonder if the MRT can handle the extra riders after the connection has been made. The last time I used the MRT they still had the same 3 car trains they had when the MRT started operation 12 years ago.

Russia always denies everything. I don't know how Lavrov sleeps at night.

Biden is one to talk ! He's not suitable for presidency either. Trump has self destructed and there are no good choices this year. Very sad
-
I think he will find a way to drop out since he hates to lose. He is nothing but a bafoon and a big embarrassment since he was unable to make the necessary transition from the primary campaign to the final. No good options this year (:

I have to believe that drugs are involved in many of these instances....not just alcohol.

It's actually his 67 th birthday

I know of some bars that pour cheap alcohol into bottles with better labels. The tip off is when you see the fill line too high at the beginning of the night. For this reason I have my own (real ) bottle in the place I frequent the most otherwise I will wake up with a miserable headache in the morning.

The laws may be different in Pattaya.I thought it is forbidden to show photos of young criminals under 20!!!
They are requesting public assistance to locate a criminal so that rule probably does not apply here

This report was about Cambodia only.....it's likely that there are strings attached to US aid provided to other countries too. Cambodia is ruled by a dictator for over 30 years...very little political freedom there. Time for some free elections there which would undoubtedly bring about some changes.

You don't negotiate with people breaking the law. There is no respect for the law in Thailand. Will be interesting to see what happens on Silom Rd at the end of this month when vendors have to stop selling on the sidewalks. I think that there is a middle ground in some areas where they could allow vendors on one side of the sidewalk only....there would still be adequate space for pedestrians.

Hope they make him pay for bridge repairs/replacement.

Too many criminals coming from Nigeria to Thailand....I assume they have to apply for a visa and go through Immigration. It's time to be more vigilant.
