  1. This has to be easy.

If you want visit only Thailand,(more than 30days) you apply thai tourist visa, 1000b paid in local currency. If you want visit only Cambodia, you apply Cambodian touristvisa, $20 paid in local currency.

If you want visit both, you apply Asmecs single visa, 1000b+$20 paid in local currency. Visa has 2 entries, 1 for Thailand, 1 for Cambodia. When you enter Cambodia, you get 30 days stamp to stay Cambodia and Cambodia entry is used. When you enter Thailand, you get 60 days stamp to stay Thailand and Thailand entry is used. And life goes on...

  2. The Thai government has determined that citizens of certain African countries can only apply for Thai visas in their country of origin. Seems simple and straightforward to me

Not true. Here is Thai Embassy in Finland policy

The Royal Thai Embassy, Helsinki will accept visa applications only from holders of Finnish and Estonian passports, and from those who have residence permits in Finland.

  3. Unless you pay the monthly subscription you are limited to the channels you can watch.

Some places do have the promotion for AIS and GMMZ when you buy the box.

You will not be getting Premier league football or a lot of the other goodies. Most of the basic programmes are Thai orientated, though things like National Geographic can be watched in English.

Pay the subscription fee and you get many more options including football - not premier league though.

What is this subscription fee You talk about? We have had this box since EURO2012 and paid nothing on monthly. Do You pay that? If so, how many sportschannels You have? We get 6, eurosportasia, clubchannel, football extra, sport one, sport extra, t-sport. Is there more if I pay fee? My box is in true dish.

  4. I personally can not understand why anybody would want to do 4 border runs instead of making a visa run for a tourist visa.

The cost would be less or only slightly more to get a 2 entry tourist visa in Vientiane that would give you a 6 month stay.

I would do border runs if I stayed about 50km from Burma border. And Malaysia make it 100km. Burma entries $10, Malaysia free and don't forget dutyfree :)

  5. Well now I'm sober and want clarify myself :) Rant rant how much you want, but can we have real Nakhon Sawan news topic? If there is news in this topic full of nonsense, it will be lost middle of that. No benefit to anyone.

  6. Is there any Nakhon Sawan news, as in topic should have? Pinned, oh my oh my

Local football, 400b trip to go see NSRU in Rayong next weekend. Week after that, last game NSRU-Roi Et at Nakhon Sawan stadium. About next year, nobody know, might be some chances. More divisions in RL, who knows.

Can we change this topic title for something else( expat rant) and have new, real Nakhon Sawan news topic? Someone might follow topics here and get email for new message in followed topics, this has been absolut bs for long time

I mean, I check new content and after that I click topics I participate, fuc_king great to see new messages in Nakhon Sawan NEWS topic and all new messages all bullshit. Like to know what other thaivisa readers think if they want to find something about Nakhon Sawan and they open this PINNED topic, <deleted>?

  7. From my experience, visas are issued based on criteria. It is up to you to conform, not up to them to adjust. Part of the tightening of visa process is to weed out visa runners which it sounds as you are one of. My answer is no on bus tickets - and good luck buying a Malaysian bus ticket esp that will neet cons scrutiny weeks or months in advance.

I don't know about Bali but in Finland bus and traintickets has been accepted for proof of leaving Thailand. That is one required document to get TR from Helsinki Embassy.

Why need luck to get busticket to Malaysia?

  8. Not if you are making trips out and back just to get the 15 days. A tourist visa would be good for 60 days.

For 1000 baht (multiple 3800) a re-entry permit from immigration would keep the remainder of the original 60 day entry valid.

Yes but I thought we are talking here what OP are doing with his girlfriend.

  9. ESPN and StarSports cover this tourney but would be big surprise if Thailand matches are not in thaitv.

Thailand - Philippines Saturday 24 Nov 20:15 on ESPN

Vietnam - Philippines Tuesday 27 Nov 17:25 on Starsports

Myanmar - Philippines Friday 30 Nov 20:15 on ESPN
