  1. Both AIS and DTAC publicly state that they have nationwide EDGE coverage, i.e. on every single base-station. Have you contacted them to inform that you do not have EDGE? It could be a simple matter to sort out.

Newsflash, email from AIS after one week

We are sorry for a delay in response. According to your email about edge service, as we have checked, on the mentioned location the available service in GPRS only. EDGE is not available.

    Same time on AIS webpage...

    EDGE+

Wohoooo! AIS did upgrade on our village tower and yes, now we have EDGE! One hour job, took more than 6 months and 3 engineers to come and sort it out.

Btw, is that another swimming pool or what on the next soi, Soi Sawanvitee 9?

  4. I think they have swimming lessons in sports stadium pool, not sure about that. But lots of cars there in sundays. They are building some new hall next to pool, maybe indoor swimming? In Uthai Thani and even small Tap Than I saw they have build indoor swimming places.

Are these two places hotels or what? Looks like pools to me.

  6. Hotel is 50-100m from crossroad Big C, very easy to find. And for motorbike, I have seen they stop all traffic in Sawanvithee to get 5 thai bikers on their way from Bonito :)

In P.A.Place hotel I wake up 2 AM and went to buy snacks in 7/11, I can not see anybody in reseption, they all were washing 5-6 farang bikes, so up to what you want, great people here.

For evening restaurants You maybe have to go somewhere near Sawanpark lake, Bon Bon is good. But in Bonito they have quite nice restaurant up in roof. Check website.

Mae Sot today, easy entry to Thailand, no questions asked. But when I departed, took almost 10 min and when I finally picked my passport, I saw they had wrote down 8 or 9 my previous entry/exit dates behind departure card. Still, no problem, just had to wait more than usual.

  8. Football, regional league started yesterday. Lamphun Warriors - Paknampho NSRU FC 0-0, game was live on SMM TV.  Even Thailand national team coach Winnie Schäfer was there.

Today Nakhon Sawan FC meets Phitsanulok FC, kick off 16.00 but they play this and next 2 home game in Lat Yao, there is some repairing need to be done in main stadium.

Fixtures and lots of more about thai football here

And if you want see Thai Premier League live, not just in truevisionstv, Chainat FC got promoted for this year. TPL will start next month, fixtures again from site above.
