The lack of pages combine with your passport getting down to the last months is an indication you should simply get a new passport. Are the added expenses, headaches and possible unforeseen problems really worth all this just to get some extra months use of your new passport?

Heh, what added expenses, that 500b for Cambodian officials? And I don't have headache, as I wrote, I can leave in April. I just made simple question, is this official fee to get off Cambodian 4 months passport validity rule? Nobody here answer/know that but some seem to know what is best for me and what I should do. Why would you allow your passport to get down to less than 4 months. Some countries require 6 months.

If you wanted to get a tourist visa with 2 entries you would not get one because you would not have enough time left on your passport to meet the Thailand's 6 month requirement.

Many countries recommend you renew your passport 9 months in advance. The UK will even add up to 9 months to your passport if you renew early.

I'm in Thailand now and my passport is valid to 9th June 2013. I'm going to get new double TR from Laos before 9th December. So if this is true, I can extend my first 60 days and then do visarun to Cambodia only 3months + some days left in my passport. And because of that, after my second 60+30 in Thailand, I can go back europe late May/early June, not late April/early May.

Point is, if I do my own visarun without that company. Like to know if I can pay that fine in every bordercheck point or airport.

Prices are online but it is 1,900 for the trip to Cambodia with some extra expenses IF you fall into these categories...

Local football, regional league(D2) "Champions League" will start 6th October. There are 2 groups both 6 teams and best 2 from both group gets promoted Division 1 for next year. I have AIS and Dtac and I roam a fair bit mostly in Issan and provinces east of Bkk. Voice on AIS is definitely patchy. I've noticed it deteriorating over the last 6 months or so. I don't use AIS for internet now cos they ripped me of with mis-selling their packages (too much small print showing the limits, etc.)

I use Dtac unlimited monthly for internet and I set my smartone (Nokia n900) to run on gsm speeds only so that I could use the 3G when I was in town and wanted a download. Guess what ! Even with my phone carefully selected to gsm only - Dtac still send me the sms messages to tell me that my "allowance" of 1Gb at 3g-speed is part-used, then all used-up. I have double-checked my settings, tried it over several months, discussed it with the supervisor at Dtac, but it has never stopped happening.

Not sure I understand you, but I assume you think that when logged in through a 2 G network, your data isn't counted as 3G data but taken out of the unlimited speed reduced part.

Unfortunately it doesn't work that way, with none of the providers afaik.

All your data is deducted from your data allowance regardless.of the fact you are connected through 2G.

And when you have reached your cap, speed will be limited...

I had dtac and all data was counted to 3G limit. Now I have AIS and my ais widget shows I have 3G 3145 MB left, 2G unlimited. Never used 3G this month so maybe AIS now don't count all data as 3G data? Package is that 799b/month unlimited

Mae Sot has at least 4 places where buses starts. Main busstation near airport, one where minibuses from Tak, Nakhon Sawan goes, there is buses too. Then one near roundabout when you come in Mae Sot. Phetprasert and Greenbus both (?) have they own terminal or not? So do all buses go via main station even if they starts some other station/terminal?

There are several busses during the day and during the night to Mae Sod in both directions. Yes, you can take a day bus back to BKK after having done your border run.

I have splitter and one cable from that goes to truebox "SAT IN 1" and other to gmm box. In truebox I have loop cable between "LNB OUT" and "SAT 2". Can someone explain me why that loopcable is needed?

And why I can not see some channels in gmm, like thaichannel 9, when both boxes are on? Only when I unplug power from truebox, then every gmm channels work ok. Just turning off truebox is not enough, had to unplug power cord.
