I can't pin point it for you but if you cross the bridge near Ubon Ruk Hospital and drive past the Warin Market on your right the shop is within a few hundred metres on your left.

Well considering it is Christmas and all it would be nice if you shared the details with all the people who shared their contacts with you.

You mean Christmas right?
Check with Mukdahan Manor to see if they are doing anything.

We got a walk in Price of 500Bt in April this year at the T3 and allowed 3 people to stay in one of the rooms.
Thx malct, Agoda charges 700/night. I think I'll really just walk in and ask a few if they offer monthly deals as well.
How did you like the room there?
For me T3 have the best rooms of the budgets in Ubon. I reviewed it (and other budget hotels) and posted pics here if you are interested.

I have been told that they now have English channels on the box as well.

I think you will find T3 and to a lessor extent Phadaeng will not offer anything to special for long term accommodation as they are running at a very high capacity at the moment.

^ And Ubon Ruk is just around the corner from Saphasit road so it is super easy to find…. right Matt?

Take your ipad mini to the mac shop first and see if they can organise it. If not, the Sunee idea is a good one.

We went to the cliff tops last April . We were intending to go to the temple itself but took the wrong road that took us to the cliff top and we could only see the temple in the distance. Most of the soldiers seemed to be bored shitless there except one soldier who followed me taking photos of me with a SLR camera as if i was a cambodian spy. Felt a bit paranoid with him . We also spent a fair bit of time talking to another soldier who could speak English and wanted to practice English . The other visitors to the cliff top were mainly Thai families there on that day .
Not a wrong turn xen, there is only one road in. You just stopped at the car park where Mor e Daneg is. That is as far as you are allowed to go (when things are quiet) as you cannot get to the actual temple itself.

Santisuk's response was sensible. It has been closed from the Thai side for the last few years at least. You can only get as close as Mor E Dang cliff (****Thai language edited out****) where you can see the temply in the distance.

Okay I understand it now.
Hulu is involved with the new ownership of Peppers. He had some questions for me as a former owner but must have got hellyes2oo2 and myself mixed up. English is not his first language hence it was a little hard to understand at first. All good!

Hi Hulu, sorry, you are correct it isn't spam - just appeared that way as you had 0 posts to your name, I will reply to your PM tomorrow.

I have been reading Thai Visa for a long time and this would have to be one of the most disgraceful threads I have ever seen. Hillbillies? Monkeys? Retards? Brain injuries? Dogs Arse? All directed with a sweeping brush to the people who are your neighbours/your boss/your staff/ and of even more concern your life partner.
Reading this thread I know who the brain dead retards really are.

as all 7-11 and tesco express are franchise every customer counts, when it happens to me i dump whatever i got on the counter make sure they get the message and walk out.
that way the staff gets the message and the ignorant pillock as well.then the next time you go into the same shop they will remember you.
Remember you? Yes perhaps but maybe they will only remember you as the silly bugger who wasted all that time going shopping only to dump it on the counter and walk out with nothing. They are giggling their heads off as soon as the door closes behind you.

And Andrew, I look forward to meeting you as well. And don't worry, we'll take well care of your baby.
Julian
Hi Julian, that is great to hear! I really enjoy bringing my family in for coffee and cake on the other side of the counter! Long may it continue!

Watch this space as its coming soon. I have just sold the business and the new owners will be updating and creating the new website shortly. On saying that, I would like to thank all of my many customers and friends that have supported me over the past 3.5 years. I have had a wonderful time chatting over a cuppa or two and meeting the varying characters that make up this wonderful city of Ubon. I will be taking a break for a couple of months then think about whats next.
The new owners are Julian and Uriel and they bring a wealth of experience to Peppers as they come from a strong restaurant back ground in the US. I would like to welcome them to Ubon Ratchathani and I wish them every success in their new business at Peppers Bakery.
Cheers to you all and thank you again.
Regards
John
I was wondering when you were going to announce this to the Issan world!
As the previous owner before John I would like to say a big well done to him for continuing on with our project and continuing to build a successful business that has been much welcomed and used by both locals, expats and tourists in Ubon. He spent many hours building it up and making many great improvements. I have heard a lot about the new owners and look forward to meeting them soon, all the best Julian and Uriel.
Not only has John built a great business he has also helped out so many people behind the scenes which most locals would be completely unaware of. If you do decide to leave Ubon John I know for a fact you will be greatly missed. All the best mate.

cheers mate, i was at franks is Sisaket last week, and he sold me a couple of what looked like oversized burger buns.
Oversized burger buns? The burgers are huge at Peppers and the 200 gram burger paddies and bacon, cheese, onion and salad fit just perfectly between them!

I got myself a 5,000 L tank and it was money well spent.

I know that they are everywhere in Ubon for sale. I would have guessed a similar situation would exist down the road in Sisaket?

Must have been because of the rain they made you go inside. Last few trips I did, I did it all outside. Yes I agree that the Lao side is a mess and it was only by lots of trial and error that I figured out how to do it with the least amount of hassle.
Hope you had a great trip.

Huai Luang, while a bit of a drive would be absolutely pumping!

However the local expert for waterfalls is The Thai Report page: Click here: http://www.thethaireport.com/?page_id=47 He is also a member here and might be able to offer some more suggestions. -
Do they still make the Darwin Stubby???? Get my drift?
Ahh yes I do get your
dribbledrift and yes they do still make them but only sell them in Darwin not here in the West. -
Nothing but the best for me Mr John!
A real shame though that beer bottles in Australia are only 330 ml ...... they either need to supply more bottles or accept the mess.

The poster 'Bergen' is and he has a nice resort that is well worth visiting not too far outside of the town bearing the same name. I am part time in the next province. Where abouts in Nam Yuen are you located?
