Outside a school? Great location! You will be surprised at the money that these kids do actually have.
Set up a small stall that has the usual rubbish for them to snack on but then of course you need to offer something different. Toasted sandwiches/waffles/mini cheese burgers etc. Something that is no more then 20 - 35 baht.

Boy thats a hard one anotheruser!
I have never seen anything but there will be a place somewhere that for sure. I will keep my eyes peeled.

When you say central Ubon, where exactly (well not to exact) do you mean?
Do you get much foot traffic (ie next to a school etc)
What are the immediate business close to you? Banks and govt offices or food places and bike repair shops?
-
Do you have a website? A menu online somewhere? Sounds all very yummy and plan to be up that way soon.

Instead of charging prepaid users, they should of had beta users for a period of 4 - 6 weeks to test the systems, but typical, they wanted money, but no return unless they re-enable the system.
They should of got a proper programmer in me, with over 20 years experience. Instead they probably been down kow san lane and hired a cheap one at 500 baht.
My hero. That's why you hanging out on a Thai forum searching for jobs right?

I look forward to seeing you.
As for credit cards, although I haven't tried I somehow doubt it. Although having said that - they do get a lot of business travellers so perhaps they do.

Both hotels have reliable (free) wifi. So does Peppers for that matter!!
As for car parking, Both do have secure parking but it is limited at Pan house (huge car-park at Phadaeng)
Pan house does have yummy slumberland mattresses! A sleep to die for!
If you are only in town for Tuesday (when our kitchen is closed) shop is still open, I will let you in on a little secret - ask for a Pizza before 4pm as our baker has been taught how to make them and he is only to happy to oblige!

Forget all of those siam 2007 and chose between Phadaeng Mansion or Pan house.
I have done some reviews here. http://memock.wordpress.com/ubon-ratchatani/

Phadaeng Mansion and Pan house are better quality hotels (apart from Sunee) but are cheaper - 400 - 550 baht a night.
A list of things to see and do can be found here.

Yeah we get ours delivered around 9.30am - I can try and catch him and ask him if he would deliver over the river. Is that the market near the army base?
-
Thanks Mr Wiggle for your kind words. I remember you actually because you asked for cream to go with your New York Cheese cake, no one else has ever requested that before!
The actual address is 297 Uppalisan Road but yes as mentioned it is almost opposite the entrance to the WING 21 airforce base.

Yeah keep away from the computers I reckon. There are places in town that for 10 baht an hour you can sit in air con on luxurious sofa chairs, play wii or play station etc. Very hard to compete AND make any profit.
