  1. It's getting closer to Christmas and thought I would start something with a good light show. It takes a while to load but very nice and classical music. I tried to load this direct from my computer but it didn't work so go here for it.

If you would like to see what it's like in Hawaii at Christmas time, go here:

To everyone, have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year or as in Hawaiian:

Mele Kalikimaka, Haoli Maka Hiki Ho

  2. I've tried them all on one occasion or another and none have ever done anything for me. Just taste sweet and the caffeine isn't high enough to do anything, at least to me.

Francois, It's caffeine in the drink, not speed.

  3. Just heard today about a kid that was cut and beaten to death In Bang Bua Thong last night at about 8PM in the market area. All I got was that the kid was wearing his school uniform and about 20 other kids from another school attacked him with long knives and big bat like objects. Police arrive on the scene and none of the attackers were arrested. Was told people were telling the police who they were and what happened but the police did nothing. What the frick is this about? Spoke to the misses and she hasn't heard anything on the news.

  4. ThunderDuck, All I meant was you have the number for the company and you can call them to find out where they sell what you want. It's sold around the world so I'm sure they have someone that can help you.

By the way, what kind of bike do you ride and is it here??

    Cheers,

  5. Do a Search here on importing cars and you'll see it's a real pain in the a$$ and you could be like Tuk Tuk Mike and lose your vehicle to the customs boys. Then again Thaksin says there is no corruption in Thailand, so that should be comforting. :o:D:D

In other words, unless you're rolling in dough, then don't do it. Either sell you vehicle or leave it with someone you trust or store it and then buy something here.

  6. I would be careful of getting things fixed by "FIXIT" guys as if they don't have the exact replacement part, they might modify it and cutout a safety source. Wouldn't want to be doing the electric shuffle while taking a shower now would you?

  7. Can you trust any girl,Thai of Farang,I've never found any diffirence.lol

Of course you can, try not to let personal experience generalize all females.

This coming from someone with so much experience or is this experience in telling lies. :o Is it also your point to let others lie and you just put up a blind eye to it? :D

  8. Bambi, Really strange to me that you can kill a snake so easily for food when the snake (on the most part) does good by keeping rats and mice controlled but when it comes to putting an animal to sleep because of diease or living in pain, you get all religious and say that is bad. So many hurt dogs (dangerous ones also) and the inbred cats running around and nothing is done to stop this craziness. :o:D

  9. Why not take the offer and then buy the vehicle back from the iinsurance company and do the repairs yourself? Did this in the US buying from the insurance company and did alright. You shouldn't pay much at all for it and just take your time and watch out for other wrecks and get the good bits off them and put on yours. Don't know what the law is here though.

  10. Dave, do you know of a trucking outfit that I could get to do this and how much do you think it would cost? I would ride the bugger down there but it's only a Honda 150 RR and that would be crazy in my opinion. I wouldn't go on any highway ride on anything less than a 600cc bike. The Honda will do 140k plus but at that speed it's just too bloody light. Getting closer to getting the Kawi 900 going and then will do the long hauls on that. :o

    Cheers,

  11. I tend to be wary of anything used with the thought of "if it's such a good vehicle, then why are they selling it". I used to buy and sell used vehicles but then I worked on them myself so know a bit about looking at older stuff. If you don't know what you're looking at then buy new. There are a lot of used trucks and vans out there for sale and I would say nost have done some hard time and don't trust what you read on the speedo unless you're savy enough to look at the connector on the speedo to see if it's been removed.
