At mission Hospital it was 39k (for 4 days private room) for a c-section for my wife and was very happy with the results. Wish she had gone the natual childbirth instead but LOVE our girl and she's healthy so it doesn't matter.

I need to go to the JUSMAG office to see what I can do to get some help with my disability rating. I'm rated at 30% service connected now but get 100% due to unemployability (have been on this for over 5 years now). Been told I can get some things done through the Phillipine office but need to get more info. Any help is great.

Why is that the kids don't get this money? Is it because they are Hilltribe people and the government doesn't care about these people at all or just figure they can use them for their own gain? They do this and do not give them anykind of recognition as being Thai. Sad, truely sad.

I thought it was all Portugese (spelling) based on the language and that is why the Ks are g and the Gs are k but I don't study enough so I don't know. I agree that the it should be more phonetic English wise and would be a lot easier like: my pen rye.

Merlin1, I disagree with that and think it is really closer to krup with it being a RL sound. I think the kup is just a shorter version.

It's concidered bad luck to say Mai me Satang to Thai's. they think it will either make them broke or you. Even if it's you that turns broke, then you wouldn't have any to give them and then still bad. It's way better to just say Mai ow krup, being sure to use the krup or ka to be polite to say that you don't want something.

I think this thread has gone completely off topic and should be closed. All this b1tching is not going to accomplish anything and really has just gotten OLD.

Get back on topic. It's a sad thing when anyone dies and for someone to come home and find their loved one dead is really something I would not wish to happen to me. Where are your brains?

What would the chances be of starting a HANDS on school to teach Thais and the school could make the profits. Thais get trained and make money and the school makes money. I don't know, just a thought.

TM, must you always bring up the past or are you still living the past. It's HISTORY and hopefully we have learned something from that. You can't seem to just live in the present and just go forward. Give it a rest.     

I love this post of yours...really, I do....it makes me chuckle everytime a post like this gets posted....it reminds me of a friend of mine back in the states....and he would say stuff like this with a certain whine and insistence in his voice when he would say it....he was fully aware of the whining quality of it and would always chuckle abit himself after making the comment. Keep it up...I love it!!!
