  1. It is my understanding that wearing the mask is not compulsory outside unless, of course, some Governor has decided otherwise. I jog every day (not in the parks) maskless , and never been stopped, since I read that it had never been a law or regulation to wear them
  2. I would not call that a loophole as this publicity was made in a foreign country. hence has nothing to do with Thailand. A loophole is a technicality that allows a person or business to avoid the scope of a law or restriction without directly violating the law.
  3. These details have nothing to do with the Juristic. This s sensitive information and owners are not required to give any information about the contract. If the Committee has explicitly issued an order during a meeting then, that would be considered as a rule, which can be challenged if this was not passed by the General Assembly. Even though there would be ground for a lawsuit
  4. why would it be more expensive than buying in a Thai name. There is no difference when it comes to the price per square metre, the official one as publicised by the Land Department. The only "obstacle" is that the funds must be transferred from abroad. As for "easier to sell", I do not understand it either as, whether you buy it from a Thai or a foreigner, it suffices that the foreigner quota has not been reached in order to buy when non Thai National. Of course if a foreigner holds the title deed, then one is sure to be in the quota.
  5. Exactly...hence that would be applied to only you. Following strictly the rules is a Must, obviously but that is definitely not a pass to an easy life
  6. Meanwhile Iceland, Norway, Slovenia, Hungary and Ireland have lifted all restrictions whether people are vaccinated or not but they have a higher vaccination rate obviously
  7. Get a grip at what danger this Omicron represents. People here do not want to be isolated at home when tested positive ( and I have seen many cases around me) . They are asking to be hospitalised because...they are insured .... Not blaming them but it is a fact, at least where I live ...in Bangkok
  8. I mentioned "most" but as far as Germany is concerned new rules apply from today as vaccinated (or recovered ) travellers, regardless of their country of origin, can now enter Germany without being subject to additional entry rules, such as pre-entry testing and quarantine requirements (if one is fully vaccinated) Also, no more tests will be required on departure. for travellers vaccinated within the meaning of European regulations, Proof of a complete vaccination schedule becomes sufficient to arrive in France, regardless of the country of origin That being said, even if there had been restrictions in the above cited countries you could fly to Denmark and reach Germany and France from there Hopefully, by May , that will still be the case
  9. Meanwhile, all European countries have lifted domestic restrictions and most do not impose tests to vaccinated travellers ....
  10. Oh my, I am confused.....checked again...."Happy/special ending" is not included in the list either That makes two authorised "practices" for foreigners
  11. I can't help but notice that Thai Massage makes it on the list at place 20.....Does that mean that Swedish Massage or any other non Thai massage., for that matter, is allowed ? ????
  12. Maybe the city where I live is not representative of the rest of the country but, from what I have been observing, I reckon that, in Bangkok, that percentage might near 100% among the subjects
  13. I might be optimist but maybe there is something lost in translation. Perhaps this Minister means that some sort of control such as the Thailand Pass should be kept in place but has nothing to do with quarantine or tracking while in the Kingdom. I guess something comparable to the Entry/Exit System (EES) which will be effective some time this year in Europe. This system allows the authorities to monitor the third country's visitors
  14. Glad to hear that cases may be heard on weekend ... What a relief...
  15. Don't them mean "use a condom" ? Test is only useful afterwards, isn't it ? Ohhh Sorry ...they are talking about Covid....Of course, prior to celebrate these couples to be have never been in "close" contact I am so confused...not withstanding the fact that one can test negative although already contaminated/infected (sorry I don't know the correct term)
  16. Wow One Million Kilograms ??? But ...wait ....wait...that is only 1,000 Tons
  17. "Thais warned! You can't use your phone while driving even when stopped in traffic or at the lights" I am glad that the double standard applies here. It is the first time that it is the favour of the foreigners as we are allowed to use our phones while driving or at stop?traffic light Ohhh....wait...maybe it means that only the Thai people are warned....the rest of us will be immediately fined without a warning ????
  18. We might have read that page under a different "Sun" I guess ???? as there is nothing "stunning" about the featured person....the average office worker
  19. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the purpose of this post serve ? If I need to see pictures, I just open Page 3 of my newspaper (that suggests my age though : ) )
