    Always been a potential problem, and still, despite the many years of existence of colour photocopying. I note than when Thais ask me for signed documents for officialdom they specify blue ink. Edit: Forgot to add that someone will be along to say they have been filled in/signing everything in black ink for 30 years and never had a problem, but if you use black ink you might have a problem, whereas with blue they can't reject it on that.

    Yes. There are reported cases of them going to people's residence and people being fined for no TM30. It is more likely that they went there for another reason e.g. thought on overstay or somesuch and when this was not so homed in on unfiled TM30 as a way of justifying the visit.

    It is unlikely they would assess in any way, just demand to see evidence of filing/tax paid i.e. just that you were in the tax system. How long does it take to check if you have aTM30 filed before they issue an extension, you either have it or you don't, and it likely would be the same with tax.

    People think of Churchill and his inspiration but he chewed butt to get things done. He'd ask how long something would take and then tell them people would be dying for every day they delayed and gave them less time.
