    Ah,

I see what you mean. Have you had a 2-year visa before?

If not, that would be the first step instead of jumping for a 10 year, which can raise red flags.

I told them in the letter we had been together 25 plus, our bank accounts have been linked for a long time etc, plus we had travelled extensively to Europe, North America, and Asia.

We had six months visa on a number of occasions, then 2 x 2 year visas and then, I told them straight, I didn't want at my time of life, to be up and down begging for visas, with my age being a factor (62 now) and also that of my siblings, (who are older than me), in the UK. If something were to happen, we want to be on a plane, not begging for visas.

That's how we did it, and it came back 10 year with no issues.

We do have a long track record and likewise, we have never been in the UK longer than 4 weeks on any given trip.

We proved long term sponsorship by having a decent amount in the bank in joint names.

But, I am sure having a decent job would satisfy them, plus you have 10 years of marriage.

I think the only thing they are on the lookout for is those going for six months, returning for a week to Thailand and then another five months.

In effect, living in the UK on a tourist visa, which is not what they are for.

That's great, much appreciated. No, we haven't had a two year visa before.

I presume it's better to go for two year before five year initially?, she had had six, 6 month visitor visas.

Had a couple of 2 year visas first.

And proof of a very long relationship plus assets and money in bank.

Thanks, we have been married for 10 years, been to the uk 5 times but never longer than 4 weeks, but circumstances are changing.  Do you need more money in the bank for a two year visa than a 6 month?, how do you 'prove' you are able to sponsor long term?

My other half is already in possession of a 10-year UK visitor visa.

On her next trip, I was planning on going to Ireland and Europe.

I know we can basically just walk into Ireland from Northern Ireland, but can we obtain a visa through the Irish Embassy that allows free travel through Europe?

That would be the simplest method, if it's allowed.

All other routes to Schengen, we have been in the past, have involved buying tickets and accommodation upfront before applying for the visa.

I was thinking, with the Irish visa, we could cut the need for air tickets etc and make life easy.

Our last Schengen visa was a long time ago and for sure, rules change. So, I would appreciate any updated advice in case I have missed anything.

The idea would be to visit the Irish Republic and Spain, for a couple of weeks in total.

Off topic slightly, but did your wife obtain, 2 year and 5 year visitor visa first, or go straight from 6 months to 10 year?, is it a gradual process?

the 3 months preceding your 1-year Permit to stay expiry date, they will provide you with a 'next 90-day report due date' which is not 90 days after your report, but is capped to the expiry date of your Permit to stay.

Thanks for the reply.I never got that. I left 3 weeks before my next 90 days was due, they just took that slip out my passport when I returned and said a new 90 day slip would be given when I applied for extension.

  5. I always thought it was 90 days from when you re entered the country, however I recently did my marriage extension a month after re entering and was expecting the officer to produce a new 90 day report for 60 days time ( as I had already been in country for 30 days), but he said the 90 days started from that day ( the day I applied). This was entered into the system and a slip was printed out for 90 days. So technically I will have been in the country for 120 days when I do my next report.

When I landed I went to report my address (same address) as you are required to do and the officer removed the original 90 days report slip and said as my visa was due for renewal soon I would get a new date.

  6. Hi. My 90 day report was due at the end of April, however I left Thailand early April, so did not stay 90 days. When i re-entered Thailand, no new 90 day report slip starting from the day i landed was given to me at airport immigration, i believe that is normal. Do i just got to my local office to get the new slip?. My annual extension renewal is due soon so i don't want to wait until then to get the new slip.

    Thanks

The sponsor just needs to show that they can financially support the applicant's trip, assuming the applicant is not paying for it themself, and provide accommodation, if the applicant is staying with the sponsor.  They'll also need to show that they know the applicant and in what capacity.

Hi, thanks for that. Yes I am aware of the points you made, it was more a specific list of documents that the sponsor has to provide i was needing.

    No theres not.

    Perhaps at touristy Patong beach.

You'll be hard pressed to find many lifeguards along the West Coast unless you count battered red flags as lifeguards.

Best not to swim this time of year on the West coat of Phuket.

Just let you know Stevini if you ever visit Thailand.

It happened on Kata Noi beach where the 5 star Katathani Hotel is located, so life guards on duty daily.

No not the same, Int Cert is all in English, Name, Nationality, Passport number, DOB, Sex, Certificate status, identifier, issuer, QR code and then vaccination record underneath (just first 2 showing). I'm guessing the same info as your yellow passport?

I've requested one anyway, I guess there's a possibility that the wrong Nationality in the digital pass section of the app may update itself now ive updated the info, if not i need to go to Vachira anyway to get my yellow passport updated manually and stamped, so i will mention it to them then. Thanks

There was a an option in International Certificate to make corrections, can't remember if Nationality was an option or not, a tick box I think it was.  I guess better you go to Vachira and tell them and request a new document ??

Nationailty dosen't appear on any of the certificates either hard copy or on the app. On my yellow vaccine passport my nationality is correct, it's only on the 'digital pass' tab on the app my nationality is wrong, or are you saying that the International certificate is the same as the 'digital pass'?

Not sure I think it serves the same purpose. If you choose 'e-Vaccine Passport' option its currently free, choose the next available date as the 'booking date' and fill out the details with photo of your passport. I did it the first time end of Dec and worked well.

All my details seem correct, and include todays booster, however on the 'digital health pass' tab, it has my nationality as ukranian, not UK. Can this info be changed via the app itself?

In MorPhrom you can see a digital version (in 'COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate' tab) that looks exactly the same as the paper certificate they gave at Jungceylon last time, when I checked it already shows the 3rd booster on there.

Although they have now messed my name up, the old certificate and digital copy in MorPhrom showed my name as FIRST NAME + SURNAME, now it has changed and shows FIRST NAME + MIDDLE NAME.

The International Certificate tab has not been updated, shows first 2 shots only but my name is correct in there. There is a button for 'adding vaccination information', so I filled that out and will see if it updates.

Is the International certificate needed though if your yellow vaccine passport is up to date?. My app is showing booster shot i had today, but then it asks for payment etc??

  13. I was there at 9am for a 10am appointment, and was back in my car at 10.20. I was also told to go to Vachira hospital to update my certificate (hard copy, mor phrom app already updated) and my vaccine passport yellow book. I was told Monday should be ok, however i think it will be busy. I previously updated my cert at Chalong, and got my yellow book at Patong, i wonder if these may be worth trying?

Also, can anybody tell me on the Mor Phrom app what the digital pass is used for?, it has my nationality as ukranian??

If you think you made a mistake when making the appointment at Saphan Hin (for example, by mistakenly clicking on the wrong passport country) then you might try canceling your appointment and making a new appointment clicking on the correct passport country this time.

However, if it was some sort of database error I don't see a way for you to correct it other than to ask at the vaccination center how to correct it.  I don't think it would prevent you from getting the vaccine.  They don't seem to be particularly fussy about who gets the vaccine now.

I wouldn't bring it up before getting the vaccination but after you have the vaccination when you are dealing with the staff to get your documentation updated.

Hi, i made no mistake, as you need to click your passport country and enter your passport number before being allowed to enter the site to register. I have just logged back into the Phuket win site, and my passport country is now correct, so it seems it was an error their end.

    Thanks

I don't know the answer regarding Saphan Hin vaccination center.  I haven't used that one.  Can only give my experience at Patong Hospital.

I have a new passport now so I will need to update my vaccination records with the Ministry of Public Health.  I think I will try first at Chalong Hospital since it is closer to me, but I may have to go to Phuket Provincial Public Health Office in Phuket Town to ask for my passport number to be updated.  Possibly you may be able to have your passport country error corrected at one of those places, too.

Thanks, the passport country was correct for my first 2 astra jabs, it was only earlier when i reserved my booster jab at sappanhin my country was different, i guess as long as my booster is added to my vaccine yellow book, it should not make much of a difference about the error, as it will only be at sappanhin it may be noticed?

UPDATE. i have just logged back into phuket win, and my passport country is now correct.

    Thanks

The passport country error shouldn't be a problem if you were issued an appointment (although you might try to get it corrected when you get your booster jab).  I've heard of someone who is Irish but their passport country is Iceland in the database. ????  I don't know where your appointment is (maybe Saphan Hin?) but at least at Patong Hospital they updated the yellow vaccine passport with the details for the 3rd booster shot while you waited.  A day or so later this update was reflected on the Ministry of Public Health database in Mor Prom app.  If you wanted your Thailand Vaccination Certificate updated you might be able to get at your vaccination center for which you have an appointment or you could go back to Chalong Hospital (a few days after your jab) and get a new one for 50 baht that reflected all three of your shots.

Hi, yes its at Sappan Hin, so would they be able to update my vaccination certificate at sappan hin on the day when i go for my booster?, will they have the facility to do that there?, as you need the updated certificate to be able to updae the yellow book i think? and will i still use Patong hospital to get the yellow book updated even though my booster was done in a different location than my previous 2 jabs?

  17. Thanks for all the help, i have just registered, however it says my passport country is Ireland, not UK?, will this cause an issue?. Also, i received 2 astra at the Phuket Orchid, got my certificate from Chalong Hospital, and then got my yellow vaccine passport from Patong hospital, where will i need to go now to get an updated certificate, and have my third dose added to my vaccine passport?.

Finished 5ml of their krap in one evening, not even the feeling of smoking 1 joint of real weed.

Really?, funny how everyone else that has tried it says it has an effect in higher than recommended doses. What's 'real weed' anyways?, your lack of specifics speaks volumes.

I'm sure boxes that state they contain CDB or THC in them are sold many place, whether they actually contain any is a different story.

Buy some, then instead of taking 2 drops as recommended, take 8. Then tell me there was no effect!

    I'll await your response!
