  1. I would have gone for the matte finish. I hope your happiness continues.
  2. I mean that long term is likely should not be ignored or minimized by wishful thinking.
  3. OK. I guess it was a very recent change. I changed my address less than a year ago. T'is pity, I've enjoyed having several accts and insurance with them over the decades.
  4. USAA It was originally only for military members so foreign addresses are normal for them. I've used them for ages with a Thai address and recently changed to another country. Never a problem using their Visa card or using WISE to transfer to Bangkok Bank or others.
  5. Ya think? This thread doesn't bring out the best posting. It seems many only read the title and started opining that the rails are too low - as stated in the sub-heading of the op quoted here and repeated and repeated. Others are obsessed with the barstool stories of 40kg girls throwing 100kg falangs off the balcony. OK, I'm off to seek 'higher level' commenting on other threads. Carry on, as you were, peace out.
  6. They started to fight when the Money got tight And they just didn't count on The tears Billy Joel Scenes from an Italian Restaurant. Instead of getting married again, I'm going to find a woman I don't like and just give her a house. Rod Stewart I don't think they were talking about Thai women.
  7. Those westerners! Ever seen a fat Thai woman? Don't get out much do you. The obesity pandemic has slammed LOS. That's one reason this babe is exceptional.
  8. She might be your type in a couple decades. A steady diet of beer and pizza should do it.
  9. I've had seven. Cost in Chiang Mai was about 1/3 US price. Quality at least as good. Sometimes extras are required e.g. bone graft, sinus lift. I'm very pleased with all of them.
  10. 555. You've got yourself a free one that loves you for yourself. I guess that's why "She pays all the bills (mortgage, water, electric, gas, parents funeral plans, car loan and theoretically shopping bill)"
  11. Probably they won't cut you off - you will - because the premium increases will make it not worth having. Good luck. I hope you find what you are looking for.
  12. If she were my daughter I would most likely be a rice farmer in Issan with under producing land and crushing debt. I would pretend she was making 30K a month as a cocktail waitress and the neighbors would go along with it because we are keeping the families alive with income from girls like her.
  13. And there is the gist. You are not in the West and are not adjusting to your environment.
  14. The frustration might drive one to demand that others must not do what the poor guy is not allowed to do. Something about misery and company.
  15. The horror! You were expecting a drink that wasn't for you and that she didn't want but you were only going to get the companionship of a young woman. Did you think you would become more attractive if she drank some alcohol?
  16. Don't do it. Even if you don't mind going to the bank to withdraw money, what if you have to leave TH and want to get the money out? Not easy. Have your SS deposited to a US account then use WISE to bring in as much as you want whenever you want. Fees are very low, exchange rate is good. If you don't have a US acct, there are some you can open online, USAA for example. I've used this and BKK for years.
  17. The old blame McDonald's b.s. Take a bike ride out into the mountains or sticks where you will find many, even mostly, overweight people living hours away from any McD, KFC, etc which they couldn't afford anyway. But they do have coca cola, fanta, and smoothies with incredible amounts of sugar. Plenty of fattening foods to make them look like UK or OZ girls, too.
  18. Never said no tip. You can pay $100 fee and $100 tip for lunch if you like.
