  1. It was just an accident! Cpl Plod was just emphasising his desire to enter the club when the "stupid" noodle seller walked into the bullet. The noodle sellers stupidity was further suggested when after being politely asked to stand up, to show he wasn't hurt, the man insisted he was in fact hurt! The Cpl then punished the man for lying! Nothing to report here?

The Noodle seller had obviously been shot before he came to the club and conspired with the guards to get the Cpl into trouble!

Clearly the Cpl was "tired and emotional" from the stress of long hours and overwork protecting the citizens of Phuket!

Exactly.  Then try to obtain CBD oil and you're treated by Thai doctors as though you've asked them to prescribe a vile of morphine instead of a bottle of cannabis oil devoid of THC.

"Oh, we're all for medical marijuana, but try to use the plant and we'll throw you in prison with the other 85% of the Thai prison population incarcerated on drug charges."

Medical marijuana in any other country on the planet meant once prescribed you could use the plant.
Here in Thailand "Medical marijuana" means they took the plant off of the narcotic's list so a handful of special companies could enrich themselves by producing an expensive CBD oil that is extremely difficult to obtain a prescription for domestically.

These puff pieces are to extol marijuana use by large corporations, not to ease the suffering of average commoners who are continually told they'll be thrown into prison for using it.  But feel free to try to change my mind.  Good luck tho'.

The real problem for interested growers and manufacturers of CBD are the lack of information and regulations about the products! Contact with government departments result in shaken heads and no information!

We have applied to grow a commercial crop of Hemp (male plants) to use the fibre in clothing, Provincial government has absolutely no information and they don't even know who to contact for more definitive info!

    TiT!

How is it B.S. when the US is the country with the a huge gun problem. Also on this board you will always have Americans moan on how to get guns. So yea I think my assessment was pretty accurate. Yes of course there are also anti gun Americans.  However you can't deny the gun culture in the US and the different mentality from the rest of the civilized on guns.

Of course you know that Thailand has more firearms per head of population don't you? The US doesn't have a gun problem, the guns work just fine, it's the media who have the real problems added to the out of control drug fueled cities!

Unless you are Thai, your not paying for them finnsk. There has been plenty of news reports of Farangs who had accidents etc that did not pay.

Just the same in the UK where the Brit taxpayer has to pay for the NHS that provides help to anyone in an emergency.

Maybe it would be better to have any Thai traveller be required to have insurance of USD$100,000, THB500,000 in their bank account for 6 months and be accompanied by a health professional throughout their journey along with an ankle tag and only allowed to stay in a government mandated hotel!

That would solve the problem quick smart!

  5. Nearly 1.2 million consumers! That's the size of a large city, half of those that left are the big spending (compared to Thai's) Westerners who support those areas outside BKK and CM where the rural population live! Who is going to reinvest in those areas to keep the villages ticking along? In my village my wife and I contribute 2 million baht into the area's economy, given that the common multiplier is x 4, why does the government "hate" us? Why do they insist on making our collective lives a slow burn of misery? Collectively we only want what is best for the country and use what resources we have to make our lives and the lives of our extended family better?

I'm starting to understand why people are leaving....

    End of rant!

Thanks for the info all ,i had a by pass ,a long long time ago in the UK ,i know i had blockages again back in 2001 when when i had the tests ,an angiogram back in the UK ,a few days ago i was really bad ,thought the end was nigh ,now feel great again ,walking for half an hour this morning no problem ,anyway am going to hospital tomorrow ,for a check up.

I've had 4 stents, luckily I get my meds for free! I'm a little confused about all the drugs you have to take. I only have to take Clopidogrel (Plavix) one 75 mg a day...that's it! All of my stents were put in in Australia.
